………………………I know, we say it every season……….how many black jackets can I own?……………….but how could I not do this jacket in BLACK…..It’s just too perfect….The ultimate black jacket. The style, the length, and the fabric were meant to be done in black….It is all woman…..There is nothing masculine about this beautifully sculptured four button jacket……Wear it casual with a tee shirt or turtleneck and jeans, or dress it way up with the MATCHING PENCIL SKIRT, long WK skirt, dress pants or even your emb. tulle skirts and the sequin pants…My LACE and POINT D’ESPRIT tights, A440949, will finish the look perfectly, and remember they make everyone’s legs look good! ……………..There are times when it feels like the knit and fabric mills will never capture the color you are trying to achieve………This is not one of those times!! There were a few tries…too red…too blue…too brown…too light….too dark, but in the end they hit the nail on the head…….This is a DARK SUMMER PLUM color…..You know when you go to the grocers or the fruit stands at the farmers market, and the dark plums are piled high. There are a variety of colors, but it is always the “blackened” ones that I am drawn to, and usually the SWEETEST!………..The new BIG DEAL CARDIGAN and companion WK pieces, the tank, the sleeveless TN and the long skirt will all be avail in PLUM….There will also be a new group of jewelry in the Plum, Amethyst and Russian Gold color combination to work with the new apparel pieces. Above, the Fez Pendant and the Triple Strand bead necklace. ………………………..The FOUR BUTTON JACKET, A384508 will also be avail in the new PLUM…….Make no mistake about it….this jacket will never be mistaken for a man’s blazer. This jacket is pure woman. I think it has a Hollywood 40’s vibe to it, but it’s very modern. The matching pencil skirt in the same fabric will also be avail in the Plum………The Super Ponte Boot cut pant has been reordered in the new PLUM. A268216 is the style number in the reg. and A303147 is for the petite. These pants are avail right now for ordering, and I can tell you they will not be coming back this season, so if PLUM is your color of choice don’t hesitate too long to get them. They will be the only Plum pant this season. You already know this is a great proven pant……….The WK and the Ponte pant are very close in color. The trench coat fabric of the jacket and skirt are slightly lighter, but they all work beautifully together. This jacket in this wonderful Plum color looks great with jeans, shown here at the right, and with the Plum TN and the Fez pendant………………………enjoy………………….much Love……………………..Louis

…………..The beads in all of these pieces are so beautiful you can’t help but stare into them.. They have such depth and variety that you would swear they are all natural stone beads. The colors of the beads range from  a deep dark plum to a lighter amethyst color giving the necklaces and bracelets great interest…The color in these photos isn’t really accurate as they look very purple and they really aren’t quite as purple as they seem, but they are close….The beads in all of the styles are a combination of GLASS and RESIN with metal spacer beads……The short FEZ pendant sits perfectly in the neckline of the jacket. You won’t have to fuss getting the length right…..The Triple strand necklace “nests” exactly as it should, and the two different shapes of the Gold spacer beads adds wonderful interest. This is another necklace that you would think you could find in the jewelry cases of a museum …….only the price would be double or triple…….Even though the stretch bead bracelets are separate they are being sold as a set of three. Two of the bracelets have the same amount of gold spacer beads, but one has extra beads so when you stack they will have more variety. I may be showing these on the Plum above, but they will make a great accent to so many other colors….like grey and scarlet red….I will show the Brass Ox or the new Gold Anniversary hoop with these pieces…………………enjoy……………………..much Love………………………..Louis
