……………..You knew exactly what this SAPPHIRE would look like even before you you saw the picture!…………..At least you hoped it would look like this…..that’s why you have already bought it sight unseen!………What you couldn’t imagine without seeing it IN PERSON is just how rich it looks……….This SHANTUNG fabric is like no other. It takes color like no other, and then it makes the colors and fabric LUMINESCENT!….This is the exact same jacket as the LIME, TURQUOISE and INDIA PINK so if you own any one of them or all of them you know what to expect. It has a slimming shape due to the seaming, and inseam pockets in this unlined SHIRT/JACKET [it can be worn both ways!]. It has the same removable shoulder pads and the 3/4 sleeve with the turn back cuff……ATTENTION! When I received my samples they needed steaming to get the packing folds out. They all came out, but sometimes the steam makes the stitches [especially at pockets and hem] look like they are puckering……If this happens just iron those areas…..IT takes longer for the iron to heat up then the pressing. I also like to press the cuffs up so they are nice and crisp….leaving approx. 1/4 inch of fabric under the fold. I did this with my three jacket and they look perfect. Again, these are all washable…..but I would dry clean them for that perfect PRESS…..that’s just me….For those of you who weren’t afraid of a color pant, and were able to get your size in the SAPPHIRE SLIM PANT….you have for yourselves one SPECTACULAR outfit!!!!! For the daring among you imagine how wonderful this jacket will look with many different color bottoms………Just wear it with white pants this summer and pick a color to wear under it…….For those of you who have the FIESTA WK sweaters in all of the fabulous brights….they will all look fantastic under Sapphire…..just pick a fabulous necklace to pull it together…..For those of you who missed out there still may be a few fabulous colors left in the A307363 v-neck tank with the rib bottom. Actually, that is the IVORY TANK above…….I have an image of a Red tank and Kelly green pants and the MULTI CLUSTER STONE & PEARL NECKLACE all worn with the Sapphire jacket!….Yellow and Turquoise, ORCHID with VIOLET, Fuchsia with Magenta. WOW, for those of you who aren’t afraid to mix colors you can create some unbelievable combinations all worn with the sapphire….Then, again, choose a necklace that pulls it all together……After you are finished playing with all of the possible solid color bottoms and tops…..that should take quite a while…..start looking at the prints. Above, the CATHEDRAL prints in BLUE and FUCHSIA…..and the BLUE LEOPARD! If you haven’t come up with at least EIGHT outfits you haven’t played enough, or your closet is seriously lacking color……..Now that’s not to say my neutral gals can’t play too. It’s just a different mind set. Again, pull out your neutral colors and start layering….Dark Olive, Walnut, Charcoal, Navy, Ivory, light tan [as the new Cargo pant], and Black are just the tip of the iceberg……………….SAPPHIRE IS A YEAR ROUND COLOR, as many of you who already own it in various styles know.
