………………………….For those of you who prefer a more neutral pallet I have created the EBONY, KHAKI and WHITE color combination. This colorway really shows the intricacy of the print. There are areas of the print that are very finely done and areas that are blurred, as if the wood blocks that were used were old  and worn with age. For me, this gives the print the character I wanted. It looks more like an old textile found in a Souk……Black, and White are the obvious bottom options, but a tan, khaki, or a linen color, such as my ponte crop pant can all work well……..A Short Story……When I designed this print I also designed the MOROCCAN JEWELRY, J477433, to go with this print. It is a perfect reproduction of a necklace Jac bought in Morocco….Of course she had to wear it immediately….The color of the antique brass beads and the black beads blend perfectly with the print…….Well, plans don’t always come to fruition the way we would like them to. The necklace and earring set was presented and sold much before this print tunic was ordered and made……However, it was Kismet that the two should finally come together at this time, and you can see my vision as it was always planned…….The necklace and earring “set” is also at an unbelievable clearance price of $19.99…….You can’t do better than that, and at that price you can get two to layer as I have done above…………………..enjoy………………..much Love………………………Louis

…………………………..At first glance you may think this is a lace fabric…….IT IS NOT!………….Its’ Floral pattern is entirely EMBROIDERED ONTO TULLE………It has a V-neckline which is piped to the hem. There are FOUR ELASTIC LOOPS and BUTTONS, and the sleeve is BRACELET length. There are PRINCESS SEAMS for shape. This is NOT a boxy jacket. The length of the XXS is approx 32 inches, so this is sort of a topper length or for many FINGER TIP. The bottom is finished with an embroidered scallop…. I have chosen to show it with a black tank, and white pants, but you can also wear any column of color, and wear the black jacket over it. For a  LBD [or any color dress], this would be a perfect cover up. Thought the sleeve is sheer there is still enough coverage to give you the confidence you need…….This is one of those collectors items that when the need comes up you will be glad you have it…….Other ways to wear it is with a short or long skirt. You could even wear it with a long sleeve top, with the mentioned long skirt and boots in the colder months! Don’t think this can only be worn as a dressy piece. Going out for lunch with the girls? Where it with a white tank and white or any color jean. Sandals, wedges or clogs will finish the look…… Above, I have used the BLACK JET GLITTERATI NECKLACE and the BLACK JET and PEARL MOON GLOW NECKLACE…..If you own the black jet Tassel necklace that would work in combination with these necklaces or on its’ own…..The PEARL & JET BRACELET works perfectly!…………..This is a special piece, and these fabrics are not easy to fine……they are like a needle in a haystack…..I just have to search!………………….enjoy……………much Love…………….Louis

…………………….Beautiful WHITE EMBROIDERY always looks rich……..There is nothing more glamorous than a column of all white….at any age or size…….Over black pants it morphs from serene to dramatic, especially wearing it with the double layer black and white gauze crepe pant as shown above…….Accessories always complete the look and create the statement you want to make. From left to right. ………………….Just a few other ways to mix it up starting…….left to right….Over indigo denim Capri, and white denim shorts for a more casual look accessorizing with the Incense Vial and the Art Nouveau pendant…This is perfect for a summer casual get together with denim shorts or crops, sands and espadrilles to complete the casual look…The black crepe gauze Cargo Pant and the Bistro necklace in the silver and gunmetal…The CARGO pant might be unexpected, but its’ fluid languid flow works well with the jacket….The all summer white look with the white denim shorts and the Harlequin necklace would be fun for an “All White Party”. …………………..Sometimes it is hard to visualize transitioning what are traditionally summer items into fall winter items. In the case of the EMBROIDERED JACKETS above let’s first look at the obvious. Adding a turtleneck to match as the ivory on ivory or the black on black is the easiest solution. A long black skirt with boots and a long sleeve jewel neck sweater is another way to go. I’ve started you off, and now it’s your turn to play and create new fall and “Holiday” outfits…..Accessorizing should be easy if you have collected some of the Linea necklaces in JET like the Glitterati, Moon Glow or the Tassel. Then there are a group of necklaces, both long and short, mixing Jet, Pearls and Fireball pave beads….They will all look great. For something a little tamer the EL Morocco chain necklace with the pave ball and earring. The Art Nouveau pendant, J387777, not shown, will be a more casual choice………….You must learn how to make your clothes work for you by both WINTERIZING and SUMMERIZING what you already own…………………enjoy………………..much Love……………………Louis
