………………….The GLASS FACETED BEAD CASCADE NECKLACE & EARRING has a touch of the VICTORIAN. It has four strands of beads that are attached at the back to a narrow bar. Two of the strands are attached in a straight manner to a 6 sided open metal station that has tiny metal bead work [very Victorian]….The two outside strands are longer and cascade and drape…..and are also attached to the station. From the bottom center of the station is a single hanging strand finished off with a tear drop faceted bead…….The necklace from the back Lobster Claw to the bottom tear drop is approx. 18 1/2 inches long with a 3 1/2 inch extender……The GLASS FACETED BEADS are small giving the over all look of the necklace a delicacy…..However, it still makes a strong impact. The crystal/silver beads are just that. Half of the bead is clear crystal and the other half is silver so you could describe them as two tone bead…..The metal is silver ox for an antique estate effect…….The earring is part of the a set. It has a faceted stone top stud from which hang three more faceted beads and then the tear drop. From top to bottom it measures approx. 2 3/8 ths of an inch……Both the necklace and the earring are very light weight and very comfortable to wear…..It looks great on all typed of sweaters, and blouses with different necklines, men’s style white cotton shirts or  with a tee shirt and a jean jacket for fun………Make it work for you and play, play, play…………………enjoy………………..much Love………………Louis

…………………………MIDNIGHT BLUE FACETED GLASS BEADS [QVC calls it Gunmetal]…………..YES!…..This past July group had touches of NAVY….the BLOUSON SLEEVED SWEATER and the FAUX SUEDE SKIRT…..The Tartan plaid was grounded in NAVY and SCARLET RED……….Coming in November and Dec. NAVY will take the CENTER STAGE with Midnight Sequin pants and a new sequin top….a beautiful WK and Midnight LUREX sweater to mix with all of the navy pieces including the suede skirt…….The center photos [not so great] show the lurex and sequin fabrics. In Dec. MORE NAVY. ………………………Compasses have always been fascinating and mystifying to me……I have given them so much more meaning other than guiding me to find the physical direction they lead me in……A compass, for me, always helps you to find your way home………It always leads you back to the one you love……..I love everything about this very special compass. It looks like a MAGICAL COMPASS from a fantastical movie for children…..and adults alike……I can see this in a fantasy movie where all of the  sections rotate in opposite directions like magic, and suddenly stop in the direction you should take!……There are four layers of different metal shapes that are plated separately in Silver Ox and Russian Gold and then put together. The red stone in the center and the different color ones at each compass point are then set……The back of the pendant is also beautiful, and so well finished that I think it can be worn backward too [photos at the right]…….The pendant can be worn two ways……long or short. At the top of the compass is a engraved ring, and at the other end of the chain is a beautiful toggle with tiny cabochon stones at each end….Just slip the two chains around your neck and insert the toggle into the ring as the photos illustrate above……The short length is similar to the Fez pendant so it looks great filling in the neckline of a jacket, in this case the riding jacket, as shown at the bottom left…Or, just slip the chain over your head and wear it full length……It looks perfect with any of your WK sweaters and your Moss Crepe tops…………………..When Jac left this Earth, Angela gave me an antique compass that came in an old leather case…..To me it was an antique treasure. An unusual gift for sure, but one that somehow gave me comfort……..Inside was engraved the Robert Frost poem “The Road not Taken”. The last paragraph truly spoke to me……………………………………………………………………….

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverged in a wood,

and I- I took the one less traveled by,

and that has made all the difference.
