……………….This jacket was reordered many times and here are just a few of the colors…..I would bet there are those of you who have or had more than one color.

……………………………For February 2011 two new styles were added for PM STYLE…..The three button blazer was in a woven crepe. It had beautiful gold rimmed buttons with pearl domed centers, which I used again and again. They were like pieces of jewelry on a jacket….The sketch shows a black collar, but I believe we eliminated it…….It came in Pearl, Black and Perfectly Pink….I think there are many of you who still might have this jacket?…..The anorak was in a marvelous Nylon/Poly blend. It had a textured surface, like a ripple, and an iridescent finish. The drawstring created an Empire waist. The exposed zipper front, the funnel collar and patch pockets gave it a fresh timeless modern look….It came in Sage which wa beautiful in the iridescent fabric with the gold zippers, grommets and snaps on the sleeves to hold the roll up sleeve tabs. The Ivory and Black also had gold trims.

…………………..Every once in a while, on a Thursday, I will post a picture from my past. This first one was taken at Anne Klein. We must have been doing a photo shoot, because I see drop paper in the background and Jac and Alda, another model[second in from the left], are dressed in a spring collection. From left to write: Joe, the AK sales manager, Alda Balestra. She always posts incredible photos of herself on face book from past runway shows, ad campaigns and receipts of her dishes!. She’s Italian, but lives in Berlin with her two grown children. Susan was a sales person and lives in Boca Raton, Florida, She’s an animal activist and runs a second hand boutique of clothes, and all kinds of things people bring in. Spoke to her this past week. Connie was my right hand gal Friday, Public Relations person. Connie moved to Florida, but still has a family home in Vermont. The next girl was Connie’s inturn for a semester [don’t recall her name], me and Jac. Ida was a sales person and still lives in NYC, and Ralph also a salesperson is retired and lives upstate. It was one big happy family, and we were good friends, and played together for many years…..Good times….good memories!

……………Here is one more picture of Jac and Carol Brant in Bill Blass. I would assume this was taken at a rehearsal because of the chairs, but maybe not. Carol looks like she has seen the ghost of Marie Antoinette! The way it was staged was the two came out onto the stage [they opened the Bill Blass segment]……Jac was supposed to be the snooty one, and walked away from Carol who then left the stage as Jac walked to center stage, took a pose and the with a hand gesture brought the rest of the models on and then left. She looks like a baby…..she was! It was at this show, back stage, when the models were sitting at make up tables that one of the other models, Suzy Pelland, saw Jac without any make up and yell out loud “you’re a baby” to Jac’s embarrassment. Without make up she looked twelve.

………………………..I’m re-posting this picture because in the one below Jac’s head was cut off wearing the Oscar de la Renta white chiffon gown….The story is the same….LOL
