…………….The Drawstring Dress, the Stripe Knit Cascade front cardigan and the WK tank were three of the new items for February.

………………………The crepe blazer had a three button front, and a gracefully shaped body due to the many seams….It was fully lined. A classic straight leg matching pant was also available.

………………………..The fabric of this Clip Dot blouse was truly beautiful. It was excellent quality. There were and are many different qualities of clip dot fabrics on the market, and what determines the price of the fabric is what yarn they are made in and how the dots are manufactured. You can see in the close up photo the actual clipping of the threads between the dots. This type of fabric was originated in Switzerland, and originally the jacquard dots were connected with “floating threads” between each dot. Then someone would clip each of the dots by hand eliminating the connecting threads. As you can imagine this was a very time consuming, and costly way to make these fabrics. Eventually a machine was created to do the clipping automatically.

…………………………The Whisper Knit Tank had waist whittling ribs. There was also a Bolero that was designed to go with it. I offered this style because I know many women don’t like to bare their arms…….However the buyer decided to sell them in different months?? Something I never understood……I however did show them with the tanks so everyone new they were coming…..I coined the phrase “SNEEK PEAKS”. TPTB at QVC didn’t like that I was showing things that weren’t for sale yet…….After a while they too showed “SNEAK PEEKS”!!!!!!…..and even called them that!…..go to next page for more Feb. offerings.

……………….This was a best seller, and was reordered a few times….always adding a new color or two. I always preferred to add new colors instead of reordering the old ones. The stand collar could easily be turned back for a different look. The cotton jacquard was very dimensional which looked very expensive.
