I’m not sure when this picture was taken, maybe 5 or 6 years ago at a Greek restaurant in NYC. We were having dinner with our good friend Brenda Vaccaro. Her friend, can’t remember his name, stopped by for a drink after the show on Broadway he works at ended for the night…..Jac and I met Brenda at least  25 years ago…. I was doing a fashion show at Lincoln Center, and she was in a Broadway show , “Jake’s Women” ???? She came with some of the other actress in the show. She was staying at a very good friend of her’s apt…..Lee Grant, another fabulous actress. We met Lee and her husband Joey through Brenda, and for years Jac and I were invited to Lee’s New Years Eve party on the west side of NYC in the 90s. They had a huge old apt and always filled it with the most interesting people…..There were always a slew of actress and actors writers and directors and producers at her parties. Who ever was in town from the west coast she would invite. Lee and Joey new everyone!!!! We, as fashion people, were like fish out of water, but we always met and talked with the most amazing people…..The list would go on and on and on…… Brenda always has the best stories!!! She dated Michael Douglas for many years, and they were friends with Jack Nicholson, and that wild bunch. I haven’t seen her in quite a while, but she always made us laugh!

………………Since Lily has passed away Sammy has been my shadow….my constant companion…or should I say we have been each other’s companion. She has taken over my reclining chair in my office where I watch TV so I gently have to move her to the couch which she loves just as well. She really is a funny dog….my little baby was just 11 years old, but she still acts like a puppy………She’s a real daddy’s girl.

………………….These pictures were taken when I visited Elena, Angelo and Jac in Athens on my return from Mykonos…..I don’t remember ever getting this tan. The beaches of Mykonos were the best…The sun in Greece and the sea turned me into a deep rich brown……Jac and Elena were so WHITE next to me!….We had all just gotten up and we were sitting on the second floor terrace that ran the length of the house. We just finished having breakfast. All of the trees in the photo are brown, because a month before there was a huge fire that miraculously stopped at their property line. The house, unlike many others, wasn’t touched. Elena was about 5 months pregnant. Yanni was to arrive about 4 months later…..The black and white dog’s name was “Doggie”….how can you forget that…..Elena had a day planned of site seeing and shopping…..It was already hot, but we would take our time. Angelo, who is an architect, would be working on a new hospital wing if I remember correctly, and couldn’t be with us, but he joined us later for dinner at an out door restaurant…..I remember having an allergy attack, and couldn’t stop sneezing…..Jac wasn’t happy about my constant sneezing, but Elena and Angelo were more sympathetic……I drank wine until the sneezes stopped!…I had a wonderful visit, and after four days I was on my way back to work in NYC.

……………….The MOON and STAR EARRING was created at the same time as the MOON and STAR PENDANT and the Star Ring and Star Bangle….They were all meant to be worn together all at once, or one combination or another………The style number of the earring, made in Italy, is J406708, and is avail now on the Linea site on QVC. It is avail. in Sterling Silver and Sterling with 18 Karat Gold plate….CUBIC ZARCONIAN stones decorate the earrings….The top post has a single stone. From that hangs a CRESCENT MOON totally paved in stones. A STAR dangles from the moon with a single stone at its’ center…..It may look large in the photos, but it is just 1 and 1/4 inch long so it is a delicate light weight earring that anyone can wear……..”I love you over the moon and beyond the stars”
