……………..Some of you may know that for my last [didn’t know that at the time] spring Linea collection I was planning to do a lemon print group. Many ask where did the inspiration come from…..This time the answer was simple…..Chantal, her husband Mike and their two teenage children were going to Italy on vacation. I gave Chantal Linea summer samples to bring plus lots of accessories [all of the Roman coin jewelry]. I knew that in Venice, Rome and Positano women dressed, not formally, but in beautiful resort clothes, and Chantal would need them. When she returned she brought me presents with a lemon theme…..soaps…and a place mat were two of them……Then I remembered on one of the trips Jac and I took to Positano she bought her mother a short sleeve cotton tee shirt with a botanical print of lemons on it [above]. Did I still have it? I did! An idea was born. I had the place mat print reproduced with some changes. I enlarged it and had the names changed to towns I had visited along the Amalfi coast. Then I had the tee shirt print reproduced. I designed a two tiered pull-on short skirt in a very light weight cotton with stretch and lined the skirt in a very light cotton batiste so it was light and cool. I also designed a pair of zip front Capri pants in the same cotton…..The tee went with both bottoms, or everything could be worn on its’ own…..The samples were made and I have them, but alas QVC dropped the line and never bought the Lemon pieces…….Later on in the year it surprised me to see lemon prints and themes popping up on several lines????!!!!! Had they all gone to Positano? LOL….The next time Chantal goes to Italy she can borrow them!

It comes apart and you can wear the brooch  separately or as a necklace….or you can wear the chain itself as a necklace. The colors are GREEN/PLUM or BLUE/RED…….Next is the COUTOURE NECKLACE which is a combination of various shapes and color stones mixed with Ivory pearls. Each row of the necklace is different  making it very special and a true COUTURE piece…..The Couture Chandelier Earring, again is a wonderful mix of different color stones and pearls….The last item id the COUTURE 72inch necklace which has all of the elements of the other pieces in the group. At 72 inches there are many ways to wear it……and it’s light weight…..If you are thinking these are only to be worn for dressy occasions you will be missing out on so many opportunities. For the more adventurous of you….I love them worn with a summer white tee and the bottom of your choice and sandals…..Jeans would be great….Fun casual!!

………………………………There is definitely something for everyone. They say VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE. and when it comes to accessories you can NEVER have enough!!! Beautiful jewelry or a wonderful scarf and give new life to an old wardrobe….that’s all it takes to look great. From left to right….The ARTE MODERNE PENDANT in the Bisque [top left], and black [bottom left]. Each inlayed stone is unique and different from the other colors….two are sold out. This is an easy throw on piece with anything…….The ZODIAC NECKLACE was a challenge to make!!!! Each disc represents a sign of the Zodiac….and each is double sided. One side has the astrological sign, with a color stone and on the reverse side is the symbol of what each sign is…I.E shown is Taurus The Bull and on the reverse side the symbol for Taurus…..There are TWELVE specially made discs!….Next row at the top is the SANTE FE necklace in LODEN. This has GOLD WASHED natural leather cords strung with Loden pearls. I love the contradiction of the raw leather with the pearls….It’s perfect to wear with all of your neutrals, and your olive, moss and Loden color clothing….love it with cottons and LINEN…..Next down is the TIGER COWIE SHELL NECKLACE. I love shells and have quite a collection. Each REAL SHELL is unique and different….just as Mother Nature made them. The six smaller shells are rimmed in GOLD….This is a wonderful Summer necklace, and ill always get compliments…….next down is the TABLET TURQUOISE NECKLACE & EARRING SET. The reconstituted Turquoise slabs are stationed on a gold chain, and the pierced earring has an interesting gold stud at the top…..next row at the top is the LUXE LINK necklace in GOLD…. It’s an intricate bold yet fine link that makes a big statement…….The COMPASS Necklace can be worn short or long by either using the toggle and ring or not. It’s a combination of Silver Ox and Gold OX. There are five  different color stones representing north, south, east and west with a larger stone in the center. This will always find it’s way home. I was given a compass with a poem engraved in it when Jac passed away…..so it has a special meaning for me…….The SPIRAL & BEAD NECKLACE & EARRING set in wine coordinates with the PINEAPPLE PENDANT necklace below, also in wine….Isn’t it lucky that both pieces are avail. in WINE at the SAME TIME!………There is definitely something for everyone.
