…………………At the end of August it will be one year since I took my nephew Chris on a safari in AFRICA!……Time goes by too quickly!……..This was a trip Jac and I always wanted to take…it was our number one destination…..Unfortunately we never made it….but I know Jac was there with me every moment……It is such a privilege to be there and see these magnificent animals  on their turf on their land…..It truly is a trip of a life time. I have basically almost been all over the world, but nothing compares to Africa……If this is a place you have dreamed about visiting, like Jac and I did……GO……………you will be so happy you took this adventure!

………………..On one of those rare days…..81 degrees, low humidity, and a wonderful breeze….it is the perfect day for sailing……..There were may sail boats on the water today, but every once in a while you see a real beauty……..Today was that day…..It was a joy to see this magnificent boat sail by. I can only imagine the fun they were having.

………………………I love a good mock neck sweater. With an elbow length sleeve it becomes modern and chic. It’s the perfect layering piece for those who don’t like to wear double long sleeves……and for those that can’t wear a high turtle length, but love the look…..a mock neck was just the answer. The Purple Haze and Raspberry were just two of the colors.

………………………A Classic tank IMHO is a must have essential. They are essential and work all year long. Wearing the Posh Knit against the skin is a treat…Camel and Pewter were just two of the many colors

…………………………For many years I wanted to do a more luxurious group of knit sweaters, but was always met with resistance from the buyers…..With the huge success of the Whisper Knits in 2013 I convinced them that it was time to introduce a new LUXE program. I had already done a Posh Knit turtleneck that sold out and reordered so there was history……POSH KNIT was a blend of  SILK….CASHMERE and LYCRA for stretch, and more importantly retention. Like anything else the quality of yarns used is paramount. The finer the yarns the better the feel and performance of the sweaters.
