………………..CHRISTY TURLINGTON………is one of my all time favorite models!….Her soft voice matched her personality…..After all the years we worked together I never saw her get ruffled….always kind….always composed….Christy did many of my shows, and I hired her many times for “Look Books”, and “National Ads”…….Christy has a beauty that is hard to define….A lot of her beauty came from within……….Her face had a fragility to it that few possess…..If you wanted her to be the girl next door without any make up….she was perfection…..she was the one all teenage boys wanted as their girlfriend, but thought they could never have….She became a chameleon, and could take on any role you wanted her to play….A 20’s vamp…..a high society lady…..an odalisque from a Matisse painting…………no problem…….Christy was….and still is a natural….one of the few SUPERMODELS still working today……Beautiful on the outside…definitely…..but she I’m sure she would like to be know more for her charitable work, and the causes she fights for every day…..Though we lost contact many years ago…..I see her on talk shows and on the current runways…….Christy is so much more than a SUPERMODEL…………….she’s a SUPER PERSON!

……………….I was very happy and proud to see the picture of Christy from one of my National Ads on the cover of “AMERICAN FASHION”!

………..Last night………….In an exciting, nail biting 10th inning with two outs and Soto facing two strikes……..SOTO …….hits a 3 run home run to advance the Yankees 5 to 2 over Cleveland!!!!……and WEAVER…the Yankee’s closer finished the job in glorious fashion!….Previously, Stanton hit a home run to tie the score 2 to 2, and Judge did his share too by getting on base….”THE THRILL OF VICTORY, and the AGONY OF DEFEAT”…..Now, the Yankees are in the WORLD SERIES!!!!!…..which they haven’t been in since 2009!!!!!……………GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!

……………………..In a nail biting finish to last nights game the NY YANKEES were VICTORIOUS!!!!…..That makes it 3 games for the Yankees and 1 game for Cleveland…..If the Yankees win one more they go into the WORLD SERIES…..something they have not accomplished in TOO MANY YEARS!!!!…………….GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

………………….I’ve talked about my “Lantern Bug” problem before…..and there are still more than I can count……Cathy recommended I buy this yellow sticky tape you put around the trunk of the trees…..So I got the tape….and sticky it is! So far all I’ve caught is a few flies, and two yellow jackets….NO lantern bugs……I’ve killed more Lantern Bugs with my spray bottle of Dawn dish soap and hot water!…..But I’m not giving up hope….The tape is there, and we will see what happens? These trees always have those pesky bugs on them, but so far none have taken the “bait”!…….I’ll just have to be patient….not one of my virtues….LOL
