…………All of these pillows represent characters from one of Jac’s childhood story books…..We still have many of the books!

………….The theme for the Dining Room is BLUE, WHITE, and SILVER……with GREENS and RED ACCENTS in the way of BERRIES and CARDINALS……What I did was take what is normally a summer theme and WINTERIZED it….I had seen a beautiful Christmas table scape in VICTORIA magazine that was all blue and white and Christmas foliage…..I new I could easily make that happen…..With all of the silver vases, place settings. salt cellars and pepper shakers, plus all of the silver objects….like the crystal and silver biscuit jars, the silver candy dishes in the shape of leaves and the silver glass Christmas trees….plus my blue water glasses and my Simon Pierce wine glasses….I knew I had enough elements to create a pretty table. The Delft center Ginger Jar and the small Chinese blue and white bud vases added just the right touch……At night I light all of the tea lights and candles. I spray painted the pine cones silver The picture lights and the chandelier give just enough light to add the right atmosphere.

………….There are two additional pieces of furniture in the dining room……The oval table was Jac’s moms. It is below a wonderful painting of a white table setting I bought in Florence, Italy. On the table sits bottles of assorted Port, and Campari. There are many object that Jac and I collected over the years. The silver and glass wine bottle was made in Italy, and a dear friend in Florence bought it for me It is made like a typical straw and glass wine bottle, and the topper was designed to look like the top was wrapped in newspaper….as they used to do in restaurants….There is also a silver toast holder, and a yellow glass and silver jam jar in the shape of a pineapple. There are also two ivory and silver knife rests and two silver egg holders that were also a gift from friends in Italy…I spray painted hydrangeas silver, and used them as the center piece and added red berry sprigs to it….The Chinese chest has incredible brass fittings. On it is an Angel that Jac’s mom made…..two yellow Chinese vases…..two glass candle pillar stands…..and a picture of Jac I took on one of our vacations……The  crystal chandelier is decorated with glass icicles. in the evening when the setting sun shines through those windows….it looks amazing.

I JUST RECEIVE A PRIVATE MESSAGE ON MY FACEBOOK PRIVATE MESSAGE. IT CLAIMED TO BE MY COUSIN, AND THEY USED HER NAME! IT SAID SHE RECEIVED $450,000.00, AND THAT MY NAME WAS ON THE LIST TO RECEIVE THE SAME AMOUNT. SO I CALLED HER AND SHE TOLD ME SHE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT IT…….SO IF YOU GET A MESSAGE FROM “THE GOLDEN VALLEY ENDOWMENT FUND”…..IT’S A SCAM!!!!!!!
