………………………………When you think of SIGNATURE DESIGNER PIECES and logo jewelry…..names like Chanel, Gucci, and LV come to mind. None made it more famous or ICONIC than…..CHANEL. Her double “C” appeared on earrings, necklaces, bracelets, bags, shoes, stockings, luggage, apparel etc.,etc. and no one did or does it better to this day……………..I grew up with logos of one kind or another. Anne Klein was famous for her “LION” showing up on everything that it was possible to put it on [she was a Leo like me]……….. I thought it was only natural, after all of these years designing Linea, for me to develop a “signature” that would represent the brand without screaming the name out loud. I have always loved the designs of Chinese coins, and wondered how I could incorporate the two……the doodling began. What I came up with was piercings in metal….all representing the letter “L”……………..Above, you can see four of the five pieces with the Linea insignia………….1-The pierced EARRING in gold and silver, J320884……2-The NECKLACE with the spaced Linea charms, which is avail in all silver and the mixed metal version of silver and gold, J320468, [the all gold version is sold out and on wait list]…….3-The charm BRACELET, J325470, in silver or gold, and it is also avail in two lengths…….4- The CUFF LINK is the newest incarnation of the signature pieces, but the cuff link comes WITH the new tunic shirt and is not avail for a separate sale……The piece missing from the photos, number 5, is the signature charm necklace with the addition of the frosted and clear color beads, J321802………I want to make something very CLEAR….what was once taboo….mixing metals…..is not only OK to do….it is considered very CHIC……..Silver with Gold….Gunmetal with Chocolate……Silver with Gunmetal…..etc…….The mixed metal necklace makes it easy for you to achieve this look and makes it the most versatile of all the necklaces. With this necklace you can wear any color charm earring or charm bracelet you want….For the more adventurous  of you….  you could even wear one gold and one silver charm earring….and just wait to see if anyone notices….better yet if anyone says anything! LOL…..This isn’t as crazy as it sounds, and is perfectly fine to do……where is it written that you can’t???…….What makes all of these pieces wonderful is the QUALITY. The weightiness of the charms, the exactness and sharpness of the piercing….the silver and gold plating….the high polished finish all combine to making each and every piece look REAL………..Now, I have read one reviewer who was not happy because the plating wore through, and when one of my customers isn’t happy I’m not happy…….There are many reasons for this happening. Perhaps an individual piece wasn’t sitting in the plating bath long enough, which rarely happens now that the process is computerized. Platting can be compromised by certain body chemistry…..perfume, hair spray etc etc………However, none of these reasons matter because….if this should happen to any piece of your Linea jewelry….my manufacturer will re-plate the pieces for you. I only wish the reviewer was aware of this. There are very few manufacturers who will do this!!!!! If it happens to a piece you buy in a department store they will not repair it or have it re-plated.
