……………………If there was ever an outfit meant to be in BLACK….this is it…..The Tiered Tunic with its’ transparent border of Georgette….over the fluid pant is just refinement at its’ best. I have added the BLACK “GAUZE” jacket, A276280, as a cover up. The two fabrics work wonderfully together. As I said previously…these are meant to be worn as separates too. Above, are two examples….the Black tunic over the Alabastor Crepe Gauze pant and again over the new LINEA BODY CAPRI LEGGING, A274374………..The Aqua seed bead necklace, J329589, show above left worn with two or to the right worn with one, and the EGYPTIAN necklace and earring set, J329563, in the Blue….are both wonderful options to add even more glamour to this wonderful tunic and pant………………..enjoy……………..much Love……….Louis
Hi Louis, as soon as I saw the long bead necklace on your blog, I looked for it on the QVC website. It was there one day, but gone before I could buy it! Did it sell out? Or did it get pulled to show later?
Would this fabric look good with the crinkled georgette layered tunic you did last year? I’m thinking white with the black pants. And would you wear the matching open cardigan over it, or is that too much? It came in black, white and a cornflower blue. Had a matching skirt. Sorry I don’t have the A number. Jac post a picture of herself in it, so she might still have it.

Dear Carol…I think the white will work fine, because it will look like separates. The black one may not be as successful if the blacks don’t work…if they do then that will be good too..I don’t have the samples to see. The open front white crinkle cardi will work well nicely with the black
Hello Louis..All of the pieces look wonderful! I do have a question on sizing. I do quite well with skirts and pants in Large, because I am between a 14 and 16. I will have to wait for the “Click here” measurements. But I was wondering if the 14 might work out well, given the elastic waist. I hate to order two, and send one back. Thanks again for all of your great designs.
I think once the measurements are given you’ll be able to decide.
If these don’t say “Cruise” I don’t know what does! The Formal dinners have been replaced with Gala diners, still dressy but not formal. Will wear these ensemble but they will also go their separate ways! Necklaces are already on their way 🙂

Right up my alley! I bought the white with black crazing beads and the Egyptian necklace in blue. Was still thinking of the seed bead necklace when it sold out! Would have bought the bracelet, but very big for my 6″ wrist. Waaaaa!!!! I will “play” with these two new pieces when they arrive. Think I can send them off in several different directions! Am trying to pack less for this trip than I usually do. BUT, we will be away for three weeks so expect to cave. 🙂

I think it is going to sell out in a flash. Wait until you have these black pants on….they are weightless….The Alabaster are lined in the tricot knit so they are a little weightier than the black…but still flowy and wonderful.

Since it is black on black I can’t tell if the tunic is longer than the jacket. Does the georgette peek out the bottom of the jacket? Since I don’t wear sleeveless without something over the top, I was happy to see the jacket shown over the tunic. How about wearing the tunic with your boleros?

Dear Chris….yes to both of your questions….only the chiffon peeks out which looks really pretty….all of the boleros I have done would work from the cobweb shrug to the WK boleros and Feather Jersey shrug…….you can wear the black boleros over any of the color tunics with black bottoms.
