The WK taupe is deeper and darker than the Linea Leisure Taupe……..The Super Ponte Boot Cut Pant will also be avail. in the new Taupe……..The WK Taupe and the S. Ponte taupe coordinate, but are not an exact match. It is extremely difficult to get two totally different yarns, poly/ rayon for the pant and rayon/nylon for the WK, to match……..It’s a close as we could get it, and I am pleased with the result. Hi Louis – I have the turtleneck in the gorgeous mushroom color you did a few years ago. Is the taupe a darker neutral than the mushroom?
While I love all the colors, I just can’t wear high turtlenecks. Will you do mock turtlenecks with long sleeves at some point? I think a short time ago I got a short sleeved or elbow length mock turtleneck and wore that comfortably. But for colder weather I love long sleeved mock turtlenecks.
Dear InStitches, every season I sketch a variety of WK sweaters for the buyers to chose from, and for fall a mock neck long sleeve is always amount them. Getting the buyers to select it is something else. I try to explain a mock neck will not compete with the very successful turtle….I KEEP TRYING.
Thank you for your answer. Too bad the buyers don’t see the value in both turtlenecks and mock turtlenecks being offered. Some ladies would buy both, especially those that can wear the turtleneck. Anyway, I’m looking forward to the lineup for fall and early winter. Never thought I’d say this but I’m READY for some fall weather! This muggy, extremely hot summer here in TN has been too much! I love the taupe to go with the new cardigan. Is there going to be an alabaster to go with the other cardigan. Is there any other alabaster top to go with the cardigan?
Dear Ann, the original short sleeve jewel neck will be coming back in Alabaster this coming Jan.
I think only you could create a Taupe that I would look at twice.
