I’m eagerly awaiting these jackets. I love the faux suede you did years ago, and the recent eyelet jacket…..this seems like the best of both worlds.
I’m wondering, is the eggplant similar to the aubergine and merlot shades? Or is it more of a deep purple?

Dear Judi…..the Eggplant is deeper and more of a brown wine whereas the others have more red in them. I would say as an accent under the jacket they are fine, but not the WK skirt. I happen to like mixing reds, others don’t understand it if it’s not a match.

How would the eggplant jacket look above the Linea Body leggings in raspberry? Would it be too many red shades?
No, no, no…I tried them together and they don’t work at all. The raspberry is very blue next to the eggplant which is more of a brown wine. They really are off.

Me too, Goldie! I’m trying to be self-disciplined in choosing just one color…but I know I’ll cave. I love this jacket in all the colors, but the olive, eggplant and tobacco are especially calling to me! What to do? lol
Go for two out of three? It is a compromise, after all. 🙂

Oh my what a lovely jacket and I love your faux suedes I have a couple of button front blouses that you did years ago in those deep jewel tone colors. I love all the colors but the eggplant, olive and grey are my favorites I can’t wait to see these presented they look luxurious without the cost and care of real suede.
