……………………This new OPEN FRONT CARDIGAN, A280,938, is avail right now in two colors……the BLACK, and the new vibrant FUCHSIA, and it is a glorious color. Again, the zipper is in the Gun Metal color. Please notice in the column of photos to the left….the third one down showing the back of the cardigan. There is a swing to the sweater which creates the “cones” or drapes in the back…..not too much, but adds a nice feminine touch……..When it comes to mixing fuchsia with color….I’m a purist…….all black or black with an ivory top are my personal favorites. That is not to say fuchsia doesn’t look equally well with Heather Charcoal Grey, Espresso Brown, or Navy……This will give you other options. For those of you who crave a shot of color in the dreary winter months I hope you give this new cardigan a try. It’s something different…..It’s something special………………………………………enjoy………………………..much Love………………………………Louis

Is this closer to a hot pink than a deep blue based fuchsia? I have cool pink very fair skin and hot pink is great but deep fuchsia, wine colors, etc. are dreadful on me.
I use Big Brother, Big Sister also.
I would say it’s in between. It’s not light or hot pink, but it’s not a deep magenta either…….somewhere inbetween
I’ve been waiting for your sneak peek of this. This looks so cool with the zippers! Definitely need black. Love the fuchsia but very blue based pinks and reds can be tricky on me. I’m trying to choose between the scarlet swing cardigan (I already have 5 sweaters in that style and am also considering the umber) or this fuchsia one. I’m fair with warm undertones. Medium blonde hair with strawberry undertones. Want to sway me one way or the other? 🙂
Also, I have the swing sweater in tobacco. How similar is the dark umber of the swing cardigan?
Since they probably would all work on you….I’ll let you make the choice. I recently gave the tobacco sweater away since I knew I wouldn’t be showing it again so I can’t compare to the umber which if memory serves [sometimes not] the umber is deeper.
Ok Louis. Thank you for replying. I think I might go for the fuchsia. Will probably end up getting the scarlet cardi later anyway, lol, if it’s still available.
Louis,
Is this fuchsia exactly like that of the faux wrap sweater and longer Whisper Knit skirt from a few seasons back? You know, the ruby and malachite season.
Not sure….I’ll have to look, but don’t know if I have any of those samples left. I gave most of them away to “Big Brother Big Sister”.
Goldie, I no longer have the wrap sweater, but I do have the TN. I’m not sure if they were the same colors but I think they were. I compared the TN to the new cardigan and they do work together well, thought the TN was slightly lighter, but the blend was very good.
Ladies please leave your reviews! It is important
Done!
This sweater made me break my self imposed shopping fast. I LOVE it and call it Miss Sassy. My favorite piece by you this year Louis. Bought it in fuchsia and of course now I want the black as ell. “Just when I thought I was safe, he pullllled me back in!” 🙂
Fabulous! I’ll be wearing the fuchsia with all black.
Hugs to Jac,
