“Sneak Peak #11” is A224278, the tweed tank. This is a very special yarn and was created to go with the lace cardigan/jackets, however, you will discover what a useful little piece this becomes. I am sure you will find many things you already own to wear with this tank . Where you compromised before by putting an outfit together with a tank that didn’t quite please you……..this one will.
The tank is made in 100% polyester. It is a very light weight knit and something you will reach for whenever you need a tank in that hard to find flax color…..it is the perfect neutral and the little black flecks makes it a STANDOUT PIECE…… For me, this tank works perfectly will all of the lace jackets. I could have gone another route by offering a tank in all of the colors but, when you wear a matching tank the lace disappears and all you see is the lace on the bare arms……this way the jacket looks the same all over and the lace really stands out. The natural color of the tank blends beautifully with the trims and buttons of the cardigan. If you own the black cardigan with the flax color lace emb…..this tank looks like it was made to go with it. I am sure when you get this little tank home you will discover many uses for it…..so much so ….you may want two……………….enjoy, Love Louis
Hi Louis! What do you think about this tank under the short sleeve black cardigan with the lace embroidery?
Thanks!

OK, I”m reading these sneak peeks backwards and have been out of town, so now I see you already answered this in the description of the lace jacket. OOPS!
Hi Louis
Love this tank w/the lace cardigan.
How does this color work with the black or sand kimono jackets ( which BTW I love).
Thanks
Marcia
Dear Marcia…..it looks great with the black….not with the sand. It’s too gray for the sand kimono.
Hi, Louis. Great tank. I’m planning on wearing it with the new Black Denim Jacket—and when and if I get the Black Denim Jeans off Waitlist, I’m having a trouser skirt made. I’m an Executive at a very large, well known company, and I plan to wear the ensemble to business meetings with a natural shoe and, of course, some dramatic jewelry. Can’t wait!
By the way, like an earlier poster, I plan to buy 2 tanks. I’ve learned over the years that it’s best to have a back-up top to go with the jackets, as the tops get more wear. With the trousers/slacks, I sometimes buy two as well—one to have shortened to wear with flats and one to wear with heels. With the great prices you bring us, buying multiples is very affordable—and is still a bargain over department store prices!
Louis, you rock!
All the best, Sheesh
Dear Louis,
Could you possibly give us some fit/sizing recommendations on both this tank and the Lovely Lace Jacket? Amount of stretch in the tank, size up/down/true to size, compare to WK garments; whatever you think might help us? There will be no second chances on either of these, I’m sure.
MUCH APPRECIATED, and just LOVE both these pieces 🙂

Dear Cathy,
I just compared the new tank with the WK tank from fall and I would say, besides the length, they are pretty much the same. The new tank is 1/4 inch wider in the chest but, honestly those differences can come just from the finishing pressing. Whatever size you bought from fall I would suggest you buy the same. The lace jacket I would say to buy your normal size. There is no lining or real tailoring to this jacket so it’s very unconstructed and soft…….lace has it’s own natural stretch just from the way it is constructed. It does have some shape due to the darts, but you wouldn’t want it boxy. Again, I don’t think it’s running big or small so I would recommend buying the size you normally would buy.
Thank you Sir!

Love it!!!! The close up is just as I thought it would be. Louis, if there is no on air presentation, do you know if this will be in inventory for the April show?
Thank you-
Judi
It will definitely be avail at the time of the show. I’m only guessing that it won’t get air time because it only comes in the one color. They could consider this as an “accessory ” piece and give it a minute or a “show and mention” which means they show the picture of it but don’t give it air time. Again, I’m only guessing….they may give it air time….just wanted you to be aware they may not.
Dear Louis,
This little tank is outstanding. I will get a lot of use out of this one. From reading the forum, it sounds like we’ll be buying multiples.
Would you let us know what the length is?
Thank you,
Mary (Shopsy)
It is 21 inches so it hits at the high hip….It was done to wear under the lace jackets.
Okay, I’m in for 2 … all I need to do is figure out sizing for this and the Lace Jacket.
THANKS, Cathy in PA
Love this tank– the closeup of the fabric convinced me!! Now the question? the pants under the tank– are those available and is that a gray or taupe color? Thanks for the sneak peeks– it makes choosing items so much easier!
Th pants in the picture are Jac’s linen pants and are not avail, but I will have the fine herringbone faux linen trousers in July that look great with the tank.
faux linen…sounds wonderful!
when are we going to get to peek at the “retro” cardi?
It’s coming!
