……………………………………….WINE trimmed in SPICE gives the CARDIGAN/COAT a beautiful rich autumnal look…..It reminds me of autumn decorations that have been “frosted”…..Also, I am showing it here BELTED with a peanut brittle calf belt for another way to wear it………..I am layering the cardigan with the WK AUBERGINE TN and the new WINE LEGGING, A260034. If you already own the Aubergine WK skirt you have another way to wear it. I have also used the wine beret and gloves to add contrast and depth to the outfit. The BROOCH at the neck is J273587, but unfortunately it just recently sold out………..You can see in the photos some different ways you can unzip the cardigan………..A saddle color or wine shoulder bag and coordinating boots is all you need to finish the look. Dark brown accessories, bag and boots, will look great too………………….enjoy………………much Love……………………….Louis

Louis – Any chance this coordinates with raspberry too?
That’s a stretch, but no one will point fingers at you.
Oh my word!!! I will be scrimping and saving for this, I have to have it!!!
Dear Louis,
I finally decided on the wine and spice. Living in the Napa Valley, I had to choose the WINE!

Since I like a little vino now and again — and I adore the burgundy/wine/aubergine group — I think I am going for the wine and spice and, maybe, the spruce green and fuchsia. I’m a bit worried about the color spice so close to my face, but I will be wearing aubergine/burgundy underneath it. And yes, please add me to the group would love a WK TN in the wine shade.
Dear Goldie….don’t worry….the spice is not yellow at all and is a very rich color.
What welcome news, Louis! Thank you. I’m am gonzo over all four of these but must restrict myself to two. I have the pin that you show, too.
Should have added that I do well with your siennas, walnuts, tobaccos, etc. So, I’ll now add spice to that pile.
This coat will look good with the Tobacco as well as the wine v neck swing sweater.
The aubergine, or at least a burgundy-colored, WK T-neck is certainly one I wish would come back. That was such a long-ago color in the line that I’m sure many women don’t have it (including me, though I own a dozen others), & it’s kind of a must color for fall & winter. I guess I could wear my aubergine mockneck with this, but by now in the NE, & Buffalo in particular, & need those long sleeves. Love these colors, and this sweater coat.
I agree with you…..it’s time to bring back a wine.
Yummy color combinations…I may need this one to go with my pin 😉
Those pins are really unsung heroes. The “bar thing” never bothered me, but I was late to buy the two that I have, which I love. The colors are showcase for Louis’s color brilliance.
I agree, Goldie. I snagged the one above recently, but haven’t found the right opportunity to wear it yet. Think I found my excuse to buy more than one of these sweaters–not that I need one!
These cardigan/coats are too beautiful, aren’t they, Grace? The maestro knows how to get to us aesthetically. Plays us like a violin…
… and the wine as well. I am enthralled by it and the thought of it with my aubergine pieces.
