The pants will be on my Nov. 17th, 1:00pm show. This looks fantastic with the Earth Brown Moto Leather Jacket, A267935. They were meant for each other if you want that “column of color”. The browns are all slightly different, tonal, due to the different yarns and materials, but they blend seamlessly……….CHOCOLATE, is an essential metal color, and I hope I have convinced all of you that this is so. The deep rich dark coppery color looks new against so many colors, but against this Espresso it is a standout! The TRIPLE BAR NECKLACE in the CHOCOLATE, J325472 is the last color remaining in this very modern piece, and once it is gone, well you know what “they” say. Don’t let it slip though your fingers….it’s well worth having, and this will not be reordered! The RIBBON LINK NECKLACE, J331643, in the brassy GOLD is also a perfect compliment to the Espresso. I especially like that it is subdued and not a bright gold that would compete with the Espresso color. They compliment each other in a quieter, gentler way…………………..I know there are many of you who are always on the look out for a beautiful rich brown that is neither too red or too ashy………………..here it is………………………………..enjoy…………………much Love…………………Louis

Over the weekend I wore your jewel neck sweater in Espresso with the new ponte straight leg pant in espresso with a brown lizard belt with a vintage belt buckle of Kielstien Cords silver turtle. Your new sweater as well as the new slacks are so well draped and fitted that I looked so slim. I hope you bring those pants and sweaters back in new colors. After buying the espresso pants I immediately ordered the black pants.
Dear Joanne……your outfit sounds so chic. I know Barry well, but have not seem him or his bags, belts and jewelry in a long time. He use to have his own section at Bergdorfs. Do you remember he was on QVC for a nano second. It was a bad fit, and he really didn’t like doing it or making inexpensive products………….As for the sweater and the pant, both are slow to sell so I don’t know if they will be reordered, which IMHO is a shame, because they should both be offered in a zillion colors.
Louis, I hope both the sweater as well as the pants are reordered. I have left glowing reviews for both items. I intend to buy multiples in the pants as they are perfect. As far as the sweaters I ordered black, espresso as well as winter white.
My Kielstein Cord buckle was purchased at least 3 decades ago as as a splurge. It was a good splurge! I remember when Barry Cord was on QVC. Your photo of the belted sweater gave me the idea for belting.
I adore this color. It’s so dark and rich, it’s one of the few browns I wear. And it’s the perfect brown to wear with jeans. Highly recommend this gorgeous color.
I highly recommend this particular shade of brown, too, Enjay. It is a very special brown. The “magic” that black did for me in my younger years, Linea’s Espresso now pretty much pulls off. I am, quite frankly, now ghastly in black (at least, black unrelieved by a flattering color around the face).
