You know Jac’s eyes almost bulged out of her head when she saw this little beauty. Why? because this is what she LIVES IN. Give the woman a simple black sweater, sometimes not so simple like any of the swing sweaters, and she’s a happy camper. If you should ever see us out and about in NYC….9 times out of 10 Jac will be in all black. Though I must say lately she has been branching out, and sometimes she does surprise me with a color, but that’s once in a blue moon! ……This is a classic sweater with an easy fit. By now I think those of you who own WK sweaters know your size. If you normally size down then keep to that formula. If you are between sizes, size down because it’s very stretchy. Above, are two BIG CITY LOOKS…..the sweater worn tucked in and belted with the BLACK MOSS CREPE GAUCHO PANT, A273865, on the left, and the BLACK CREPE GAUZE LONG PANT, A276294, on the right, are two fabulous ways to look…very sophisticated….very CHIC!……..To accessorize….my favorite……..GOLD…….The RIBBON NECKLACE, J331643, for a more subdued look, or full out glamour with two of the GRADUATED METAL BEAD necklaces, J296893 This necklace is VERY limited and now only avail in the Russian Gold and the Satin Silver. Yes, it is a throw back to the 80s, but the 80s are coming back! A pair of tights with the gauchos and a Fabulous SUEDE BLACK BOOT is a million $$$ look. With the long gauze pant the new LACE KNEE HIGHS, A283073, is fabulous!……….I know Jac will just grab the sweater and wear it with her jeans and off she will go! A very happy camper indeed………This is one of the last new pieces for the Fall 2016 season…..a classic yes…..exciting? That depends on your perspective. If you don’t own a lot of brown then this is the one piece to get..I love brown for winter, but I love brown tops with white or ivory pants and skirts in the spring and summer….it’s a great background for jewelry, but I’m really not trying to convince you. I don’t even know if dark espresso browns look good on you?
I bought all four colors – and am delighted that my red sweater went from “waitlist’ to “in process”. Please let it be so successful that it comes back in navy, charcoal, wine and olive!
Perfection. Do I need another black sweater? Of course not. But I need this one because it’s ideal for the WK shorter skirts of this past spring/summer, and because it’s just the look I was after for wearing under my new coats and my new ponchos.
I ordered three of the four colors. I hope it blows out the door with no returns so we can have it in more colors along with a v-neck version next year!
