…………………………We are calling this LINEA LEISURE sweater “mixed media”, not because it has mixed fabrics, which the term is usually referred to, but because there are different stitches to give interest to the sweater…………………A282500 is the style number, and it is a blend of COTTON/RAYON……………..The color above is the……CREAM/BLACK…..You may recall Brenda nonchalantly having it tied over her shoulder when I was presenting the new CREAM WK TN, A72448………As you can clearly see in the photos above there are many different elements that make up the design. There is a flat jersey area, a POINTELLE area, raised OTTOMAN ribs combined with a stripe, solid dimensional stripes and BIRDSEYE STITCHES, are all used to create this sweater. The sweater has a BALLET neckline, and it has a CURVED SHIRT TAIL BOTTOM which is accentuated with a diagonal stripe. It is made beautifully and ALL the stripes MATCH…. The XS has a length of approx. 27 inches, and the “fit” is easy, so you can layer a TN in the fall/winter, or wear nothing under it in the spring/early summer………….This IS A SEASON-LESS sweater, and is in a weight that can easily be worn 10 months out of the year……….Though it is a “Leisure” sweater…it would be appropriate to wear for any occasion and with any bottom………leggings, Capris, trousers or slim ponte pants would all work. Maxi skirts or short pencil skirts take you from the office to dinner. Throw your Quilted Black Jacket or your Black Trench coat over it all to complete your outfit…The simple GUNMETAL BAR NECKLACE [the only color left] is all you need to accessorize this already decorative sweater…….We all love our solid sweaters, but something a little fanciful is always welcome……………………………………………..enjoy……………………..much Love………………………………..Louis

When I saw this around Brenda’s shoulders on the show, my eyes bugged out of my head. I love a beautiful mixed stitch sweater in the winter time, & this is such an elegant version.
Now this is what I like! In terms of size, MH-MN, I would measure across the shoulders on the upper back a sweater you do wear. If it’s a sweater you wear over a blouse or T neck, do the same. You may have to go up a size to allow for layering. I intend to wear it on its own do probably will remain with my usual Linea size for tops.
This is fabulous! The cream turtleneck is a yummy, flattering color and I fell in love with this piece in a flash when it was sneak peeked. Is there a big difference between sizes small and medium? Usually I would wear this over another top such as the neck or the WK mock neck sweater. Is it straight down from the underarm, or slightly A-line? Should I size up?
Dear MH-MN, the sweater is basically straight…..better for the stripes. Not knowing what you look like giving you size advise is not a good thing. The sweater is easy, not skimpy at all. It’s best to wait and look at the measurement as they will give you the best idea.
Will do! Thank you for taking time to answer. 🙂
