Hi Everyone,
We are back from our travels and my shows at QVC UK, and we couldn’t be happier to be home. We had a SUPER great time in Paris and Jac showed me all the places she worked and I showed her all the places I ATE! For three days we walked PARIS and walked our feet off. We saw a lot…. did a lot….and ate a lot. No time to rest…. I now have to prepare for my May 11th shows. A BIG HEADS UP….the print maxi dress will not be on my regular show!!!! It will be on the noon Q CHECK….just before my 1pm show. I still have “SNEAK PEEKS” to post, and after the shows…..when things quiet down…I will post my new “POST CARDS” from Paris and a few from London too. A quick story….on our last day in Paris we were walking on the Rue de Rivoli [not sure if I spelled that correctly]….a very famous street in Paris with lots of shops. I saw some berets in new colors and decided to pick some up. When I got back to the hotel I looked at my new finds….only to find out…FRENCH BERETS….were made in CHINA…..is NOTHING SACRED?!!!!!…..much Love Louis
WE ARE BACK SAFE AND SOUND!

Welcome back!
My husband and I were in Paris and southern France during March and April. I promised myself that I wasn’t going to diet when in Europe and had a croissant every morning. Who can resist a patisserie with those lovely tarts? I couldn’t. But we walked and walked and saw so many wonderful sites and when I hopped on the scale back home I was happy to see I had lost five pounds!
Welcome back, Louis. My husband and I leave for London and Rome next week so after reading your comments, I can’t wait to go. My suitcase will be filled with lots of Linea, of course. Was the weather still cool in London? I’ve been checking the weather over there on a daily basis so I know what to pack. Of course, being Italian, I’m all about the food. I know what to expect in Rome, but can’t wait to sample what London has to offer. Looking forward to your upcoming show!
Dear Elena…..London was more than cool….quilted jackets and coats where on everyone. You should be fine if you layer so you don’t have to bring a coat. Jac wore a Linea vintage black trench with two layers and she was good to go. We went to some terrific restaurants but you need to make reservations now….they book up quickly. We went to Todd’s, Le Caprice, The Wolsley [not sure I spelled it correctly], and The Ivy. E-mail your hotel and ask them to make reservations where you would like to eat. Prices are really high. There are also tons of pubs where the prices are more reasonable. If you enjoy the theater I recommend “The 39 Steps” and “Hay Fever”…..very English and lot’s of fun. Enjoy your trip!
Welcome home, Louis and Jac! I watched the first show ‘live’ on my computer. It was a lovely presentation, much more low key and ‘up close and personal” than the US hosting/presentation format of the Q. Since this was your second visit, I hope it means the British ladies are as pleased with your line as we are.
My “haul” from your most recent show is wonderful (with the exception of the faux shantung dress, which didn’t work with my mid-section issues.) I hope you will bring us lots more in that wonderful faux shantung fabric. Perhaps pants, similar to the ones you did a few years back in champagne and turqu0ise, with matching tanks? I’ve “outgrown” the ones I have in both colors and would love to have the chance to re-acquire something similar. Perhaps a deeper fawn or espresso shade?
thanks for all you do— Blinddogs
Dear Nancy…..sorry about the shantung dress….I’m sure it would have been perfect for you if the fit was right. My manufacturer doesn’t want to make a pant in the “faux shantung” because the fabric has no stretch and the ones you refer to did not do well. I would love a slim leg pant in that fabric but no one is very enthused.
Hah! As if we would wait for the noon show (or any show) to order that dress! Is the Kate shirt back this visit or is that June? July?
That is back in July with my transition into Fall 2013 group and you will love the whole thing….it’s very special.
We’ve come to expect nothing less than special! Loved your UK shows. Looking forward to your May visit. Hope you’ve recovered from the jet lag by then. Can’t wait to see the postcards.

Loved the last postcards, excited to see these as well.
You should look at Jac’s facebook. She’s started to post pics of the places she worked with wonderful little stories.
Welcome back home, Louis and Jac! How could one NOT eat in Paris?!!! I already have restaurants bookmarked in Vienna, a very important Site Survey skill I learned as a Peace Corps volunteer :-). I have enjoyed viewing the tapes on the UK Q site. Equally enjoyable is the way your garments are presented there. Days for wearing my new Spring Linea have been few and far between as my mare Pippa injured her suspensory ligament and I have been spending most of my time at the barn. I might as well put a cot there!!! But OG took me out to dinner tonight and I was finally able to “dress”. Designs for barn clothes would be most welcome!!! Again, welcome home!Barbara
Welcome back friends! We missed you; I caught some of the show on the computer; wonderful … Eager to see those new sneak peeks as always, once you get some rest, and the postcards too; what a special treat for us 🙂
My day today started at 6am with a long car ride trip into NYC for a wholesale fashion jewelry show just off Times Square … in and out of little hotel showrooms all day, making lists, interviewing vendors, looking for treasures for our company, followed by my favorite dinner at Victor’s Cuban Cafe, and another longer car ride back to PA. Best part of the whole trip? My new PERFECT sharp spring business outfit: Navy Windowpane Jacket, white tee with a tiny ruffled edge at the square neckline, and Navy Cuffed Crops, which are the best ankle/full length on short me; added some gold, diamonds and deep blue sapphires. What a sensational, sharp, crisp, comfortable spring/summer business outfit; just perfect; I COULD NOT be more pleased!
THANK YOU FOR THAT 🙂
Cathy, back in PA
Welcome home! It sounds like you had a wonderful trip and certainly some great shows in the UK.
Get settled and we’ll see you on the 11th!
Welcome back, that’s too funny about the “French” berets.
Welcome back, time to rest and get over the jet lag and then its back to work! 🙂 Sounds like you had a great time in the City of Lights.
WELCOME BACK! You were missed. I caught the UK shows. They were wonderful and I hope successful.
