……………………This…………LIME……………is a fantastic color…..It makes your mouth water!…..The new colors also remind me of my FIESTA colors that I did a few seasons back. They turned out to be very successful, and I’m sure are still being worn today…….I love these pieces worn as a two piece summer dress, perfect for so many summer special occasions. I especially love each piece worn separately, mixing the lime with sparkling white, navy, black, ivory, chino or natural linen……….The FAUX DE CHINE TANK that comes with the Safari shirt is a bonus that looks great on its’ own or paired with the Safari Shirt worn open as a breezy cover up……This is a great color for BLONDS, BRUNETTES, REDHEADS and my SILVER and WHITE HAIRED BEAUTIES………Did I leave anyone out?……….For a more relaxed way to wear the BOHO pair it with my new TEE shirts, A225482, that are quickly becoming everyone’s favorite…WHITE, NAVY and BLACK will all work….A pair of sandals, espadrilles, or wedges…..a tote, sunglasses, your seed bead necklace, and you will look spectacular…How did I choose this particular LIME?……I matched it to the LIME SEED BEAD NECKLACE, J329589! coming this April……………………………………………enjoy………………….much Love………………………….Louis

For those who are interested, there are XXS in Lime now available online. A Linea Lady counted 24 as available and reported that that is a typical inventory number for that size.
To be accurate, she said that this number is more than is typically available in the XXS size. Some Linea Ladies really know this stock well. I’m impressed.
Goldie, it’s easier to know the quantity with the XXS size because QVC always orders such a SMALL number in that size. (and then we have to battle to get one!)
Louis, would the Crinkle Shirt in Navy look good over this particular Lime tank? I’m thinking I can get my Lime and mix it with Navy. Also, I could maybe wear the Lime Crinkle Shirt over the Navy tank? I am hoping that I can pull off Lime on Lime, of course, but I am searching for other ways to wear the Lime, too.
Yes Goldie…..navy looks great with lime and either silver or gold.
Thanks, Louis. Good news.
Hi Louis- You know what I would love to see ? A long duster in this style and fabric…brushing somewhere along the mid-calf or even longer perhaps. No side pockets…just like this. In these colors for summer and every color!
I love lime paired with navy. I have a navy, white, and lime stripe scarf that brings it all together. Also a lovely chunky silver necklace with a faux ivory anchor. Nautical with a twist of lime. What do you think?
Julia
Sounds good to me!The lime is already sold out in xxs
I was just looking at the availability of the Lime, and the XXS is now sold out. Lime appears to be the “sleeper” hit.
Maybe it’s not completely loaded yet. It really isn’t due until Monday
Your right…..it is sold out in xxs
And Lime is the “winnah!” Louis, I don’t do Lime, but your shade really caught my eye. You are a magician with colors.
Louis, I’m assuming this is a “good lime” for blondies?
looks great on Jac
Oh…thank you soooo much for this lucious lime! It sings spring, summer and festive times. I am also going to pair this with copper jewelry- a giant pendant and earrings, and a mixed textured wide belt.
Sounds beautiful….wish I could see it!
Lime generally doesn’t look good with my complexion unless I have a tan. I’ve worn lime only in the summer months. I’m pale the rest of the year. Anyone who has the floral maxi skirts will like how this goes with it (lime is in the floral print of 2 of the skirts).
This lime top has my name written all over it. My hair leans toward red and with my skin tone, this color is good for me. My husband loves me in bright colors (he pleads with me not to bring any more black into my closet) and this lime color is so unusual that I must have it. I have so many things to wear with it. Black. White. Jeans. Wear with my Bob Mackie wide leg pants for something dressier. I will have to think about the skirt. It may be a little “much” for me and my life style. Besides, I already have the complete brown and navy top and skirts from a few years back. Louis, thanks again for this color. It is a WOW. I oredered it this morning in a medium.
Dear Jackie….all of these colors will look great with red hair! The skirts for the summer with tanks and tee shirts, and fabulous sandals can become a summer uniform
Lime is typically to be avoided by me because of my coloring, but for those who can wear the color well, wow, what a look this is! Does anything say SUMMERTIME more than this Lime tank with the boho skirt and the Lime seed beads. Stunningly “summerly.” I am jealous of the Lime-wearers.
Goldie, I’m trying to figure out if I can wear this lime green. Some work, some don’t. I really, really want it to work! lol
I don’t blame you, Grace. It is a beaut, and I have never been known to utter those words about Lime. I cannot imagine that it wouldn’t work with your coloring. To my mind, almost any blonde can wear “Louis’s Lime,” but as he always tells us, it is skin color and not hair color that dictates this. I believe this is true. Why? Because Elizabeth Taylor, because of her PERFECT complexion color and hair color, could wear ANY COLOR. It is so funny, I thought this was my “discovery” and mine alone, but a QVC forum contributor wrote something about this about three years ago. I knew then that I was not alone with this thought. The reason I am still rolling a Lime for me around in my noggin is that I am trying to figure if my light olive complexion will shine in Louis’s Lime. I think you can wear it well, but I don’t know for certain, of course. I want one before they are all gone.
Thanks, Goldie–I think this lime may be do-able for many of us. 🙂 (Wish we were all so lucky in the gene pool as Elizabth Taylor–what a natural beauty!) I guess if we plan on getting a tan in the future or using a bronzer, this lime will be stunning. I’m not a “fair” skinned blonde–more neutral beige with both pink and yellow undertones. I think I’ll get it (before it’s gone!), along with the pink and, of course, the periwinkle! Be still my heart…
And…I wish I’d gotten my “colors” done years ago, so I had a roadmap! I’m always guessing on some colors…
If you’re getting the Crinkle Shirt & Tank in Pink, you might be interested in the new Lola Rose “Pink Agate Shoshannah Bead Drop Earring” (J335404). It looks so much like the Crinkle Shirt & Tank’s color — at least, online it does.
Thanks, Goldie–those earrings are so pretty. Perfect match!
