…………………………….The TRUFFLE pieces make great separates. Worn with black is a BIG CITY LOOK………..The CROPPED TROUSER is coming in a reg. length [22 inch inseam], A287614….and a PETITE LENGTH, A287615, [not sure of the measurement]. It has an elastic waist, trouser pockets, and a single pleat front which gives the pant its’ drape. If you loved the Moss Crepe Gaucho, you will love this new cropped pant…….It is unlined so it really is weightless and MOVES beautifully…….I know there are those of you that this pant might not be for, but if you think of it as a skirt look, and not a pant you may understand the look more…….A Black tank, and the Black/Gunmetal/Gold Seed Bead necklace brings the Truffle and black together perfectly……The BLACK STAND COLLAR Shirt/Jacket is new, but more about that later!…………………………enjoy…………much Love………………………Louis

Dear Louis,
I’m ordering the navy top & pants, the aqua mist top and black pant. I’m debating whether the truffle color will work for me, and I’m thinking maybe I should get the pant and not the top. Is this a flattering color–a neutral–for blondes? (Your taupe WK TN drains me a bit.) Thanks for your help.
Which taupe garment are you referring to. This is a warn taupe as opposed to the Linea Leisure taupe which has more grey in it. I think it would look good on blonds, but there are so many variables…..what shade of blond and skin color. Are you very pale and burn in the sun or do you tan. I haven’t had this on Jac, but I think the color would be good for her.
I’m referring to A72448 in taupe. I realize there are many variables in coloring and I have both pink & yellow undertones in my skin, making it more “neutral.” I’m light, but not as fair skinned as Jac. I burn/then tan. I’m buttery blonde. Maybe this warmer taupe will work?
I can’t wait to order this set along with the black pants. The pebble crepe fabric is my all time favorite. Is the seed necklace that is pictured still available?
Terri…..this is not the pebble crepe….it’s the Gauze Crepe which I used last spring and everyone loved it. Yes, that is the seed bead necklace….not due until in April.
Louis,
Can you provide a measurement on the pant from the waist to the hem? I need a length of at least 25″ to fall below my chubby knees! Thanks!
Dear Mary…..from the bottom of the waist band to the hem measures 32 1/2 inches approx……well below your knees.
Do you mean 22 1/2 inches on the length?
No….this is a measurement from the waist band, not the inseam.
Louis thanks for the correction, I was definitely thinking inseam!
Louis,
Thanks for the measurement. I didn’t realize this was a full length pant. That makes all the difference! Just reading the CT weather for Tuesday-wow, we’re in for quite a pile of snow!! Good day to make cookies and angels in the snow! Stay safe and warm!
It’s not full length. Compare it to your other pants……we are ready for the blizzard. Jac made a big pot of potato soup….yum!
Louis, LOVE it ALL! All of the Pieces – and all of the Colours! This is terrific in all caps – TERRIFIC!
A question about the stretch of the Fabric – is there any spandex in the content?
Dear Seka the crepe gauze has 3% spandex so yes, there is stretch….plus the crepe weave also has natural stretch.
Such a great look. Those pleats are going to cause many to just say no and I would be one of them, except last year’s full length wide leg version had soft pleats too. And, it didn’t make me look belly-bulging at all!
and this is a single pleat as opposed to the double pleat of last years Gauze Crepe. These are also UNLINED like the black long pants, which really makes a big difference. Besides you will probably wear something over it or a shirt belted…..or a tank tucked in with a belt….it gives you a small waist. These are the most comfortable pants you will ever put on.
Who wouldn’t want to look like this? Totally fabulous, Louis.
Already hyperventilating over the stand collar shirt/jacket. Is it made of fabric similar to that of the pant and wrap top?
Yes Goldie…..it’s all Crepe Gauze
