…………………………Ladies……….here is the Alabaster Ombre tunic…..As you can see from the photos above, the actual print is darker then the alabaster crepe gauze pant. There is actually lighter Alabaster at the very top, but it gets cut off in the smaller sizes. The photos really don’t do the print justice, because you can’t see the gradations of color, and the dept of color…..What you can see is how PERFECT the Seed Bead necklace in the black and gunmetal looks with this top…..Unfortunately, that color is already sold out……I can’t post the other two colors….CORAL and BLUEBERRY because I haven”t received my samples yet, but they are on their way to me…..so sometime next week when I can get it all together………….enjoy………………..much Love……………………..Louis
This looks like a knit version of a J.T. Turner painting. So romantic & different, & looks like it will be perfect with pale grey or taupe pants as well as the alabaster. Love it.

Oh boy, going to have to get this. It’s beautiful!! I have your original 3 ombre tops (peacock, flame and the pink). I skipped the last offering because I thought, how many ombre tops like this does one need? While I have umpteen multiples of Whisper Knits and safari shirts, I feel too many of the ombre top might be too much. But the alabaster is completely different from the ones I have. Neutral and classy, so glad I will have the seed beed necklace to go with.
While I trust what you say about the blueberry and coral ones, I will have to wait for pics before I pull the trigger on those. I’m sure they are beautiful, but I have to see with my own eyes how they differ from peacock and flame. Eagerly awaiting pics! Thanks for the pics of the alabaster so I can get it before my size sells out!

Louis, I ordered all three colors. This is the quintessential Florida top. I can wear these year round. You haven’t done one color combo yet in this top that I haven’t liked, so I’m totally fine with ordering before seeing any photos. I’m especially excited about the coral which is one of my favorite colors. I have the peacock combo from the first season and the aqua from last time. Do you think a third blue – the blueberry – may be too much? Or, is it different enough from the other two?
Dear Deborah…..don’t worry about the blueberry….the other two leaned more towards the aqua/turquoise side….this is very blue and totally different. As for the Coral….first forget it was named coral, because there are so many different shadings that it was hard to pin down a color name….it could have been called persimmon too…..the only thing that is important is….it’s really special and beautiful…..you won’t be disappointed!
How wonderful. I missed getting this top in the flame combo and have stalked it on eBay ever since…to no avail. This sounds like the coral/persimmon will address my longing for this beautiful pattern in a “red side of the color wheel” combo.
The “Flame” was Rita Hayworth, if I am passing out movie star names to these tops.
Elegant, Mr. Dell’Olio. It does have the scent of Grace Kelly about it. Your Blue/Turquoise ombre was Elizabeth Taylor, but this one is Princess Grace. (I have no idea why my mind has attached movie stars to the ombre tops other than the personality of the Alabaster is so dramatically different from the previous tops, and Grace Kelly popped into my mind.)
Goldie, I agree with your spot on description–it does have a Princess Grace vibe to it. Classy & elegant. Love anything in the Linea alabaster, and although I’m not a print lover, I will be getting this one.:)
