Happy Easter Louis and Jac and your girls! It was a lovely day here. I wore the bluebell georgette outfit to church today and received compliments! Thank you so much for the creative gifts you share with us! Many blessings!
Happy Easter to you and Jac. I wore your aqua mist stand collar button front tunic with your black ponte pants to my daughter’s Easter celebration and got compliments thanks to you! I hope you, Jac and your fur babies have a wonderful day. Ruth
Happy Easter! Much love to you and Jac!

Happy Easter to you and Jac! Have a blessed day!
Before I left church, I noticed I got white candle dripping on my Linea “Pull-on Pencil Skirt” in Grass. Not having much luck removing it yet. Any ideas? I can wait until tomorrow for a good suggestion. Hot as blazes here! Up to 88 but clouding over.
What do you mean “grass”? The only way I have removed candle wax is by putting a paper bag over the wax and using an icon, hot enough to melt the wax, place iron on the paper. The wax melts into the paper. Keep moving the paper to a clean spot. Maybe others ladies have more ideas.
The color of the skirt was “Grass.” Item #A265605. The fabric looks as though it might scorch easily — especially by the candle dripping itself — but it pulled through that test with flying colors. I wore the skirt with the “3/4 Sleeve Sweater” in Grass (A265572). The fact that any of those sweaters lingered just amazes me! So snappy yet classic in look. What wasn’t to love?
Thank you, Louis. I just wondered if the fabric would demand something different. The bag/iron treatment should work.
If it’s not whisper knit start with a semi hot iron first.
It isn’t, Louis. Thanks for the hint.
Read the washing instructions and see if they give any ironing instructions. If all fails and you’re not sure about the ironing….bring it to a dry cleaner and ask them.
Dear Louis,
A very happy Easter to you, Jac and the “girls”! I just knew that you would have a beautiful picture posted, and you haven’t disappointed me. These pansies have such beautiful faces, and the colors are to die for. Just exquisite! We’re home from church and planning on a quiet day as well.
Happy Easter to you and Jac. Your pansies are beautiful. All the years we lived in Boston I couldn’t wait until April to put them in. Now in NC we plant them Thanksgiving and they’re just about ready to be replaced.
A very happy Easter to you and Jac. The weather is just as nice opposite the Sound. The hardest decision today is what to wear!
About to start the asparagus and the carrots side dishes. The orange spice gingerbread cake (similar to The Dobbin House Restaurant in Gettysburg recipe) was made last evening along with the chocolate cake with buttercream frosting and decorated with cute sugar candies
of Easter sprinkles of colored chicks, rabbits & ducks. A small Virginia ham topped with pineapple slices & maraschino cherries accompanied by a mustard & clove brown sugar pineapple sauce completes the meal, prior a rigatoni with vodka sauce as the appetizer.
Enjoy this special day.
Regards,
Chris
UMMM….coming over for leftovers! It’s getting cloudy?
Happy Easter to you and Jac!
Louis, Happy Easter to you and Jac. It will be 75 degrees today – my Gauze Crepe pieces will keep me looking good through a very busy day. Enjoy your day!
Happy Easter, Jac and Louis! Were going to be in the 80’s today here in Florida. We’re staying home for Easter dinner rather than go out as we usually do. This weekend is delivering intense tourist traffic – more so than usual. So, we’re having much the same menu as yours, except we’ll be having my favorite apple pie instead of apple crisp (my second fave).
Happy and Blessed Easter to you and Jac. Enjoy this beautiful day and see you soon.
Thank you, Elaine
