“Sneak Peek #5”, as you can see is a jewelry sneak peek. There are two items in the photo above, J270117, the BEAD NECKLACE, and J270118, the “slice” or “wedge” STRETCH BRACELET. They both come in either solid BLACK or CHILI PEPPER. The beads are graduated, meaning the beads are smaller at the back of the neck and gradually get larger until you get to the bottom…..where the largest beads are. You can tell by the photos the approx. length on the body……..about 17 1/2 inches long. The bracelet reminds me of tangerine slices or wedges and it is approx. 1 5/8 inches wide. I have constantly shown black and wine beads and bracelets through out my 12 years at QVC, so I felt it was appropriate to have them offered to you as some of my newest pieces…………………I hope you enjoy…….much Love, Louis

I love this wedge bracelet style! In the 1970s, I bought the same shape bracelet in Georgetown. It is gold-plated (never tarnished) and flexible, not stretch. I’ve always thought it was a very rich-looking adornment.
And, do you have any idea how hard it is to find an attractive-looking red bracelet? I’ve been looking high and low since the purple Lana Turner dress was presented with red accessories (I bought the purple dress in addition to the peacock blue one, and am I glad I did). Perhaps this shade of red won’t go with that frock, but I am snatching up this red set.
Love. Can you tell us a bit about the weight of these beads, of what they are made, etc? Lots of questions re them on the Q.

I’m not sure how to answer you about the weight? They certainly aren’t feather weight. They have heft to them but I would,t call them heavy. With all the beads I have in my collection that are of this type, they are no heavier or lighter than any thing else I own. As for what they are made of, I’m not sure….either plastic or resin. If it is important to you I will find out from the manufacturer. They are not glass….that I can tell you.

I got the answer…..ACRYLIC…..what does that mean? Resin or Plastic?
It means that those beads are made of acrylic and belong to the plastic family of beads. Plastic is a term for petroleum based synthetic materials. Resin is also belongs to the plastic family.
P.S. I don’t care of what they’re made of. The jewelry is so beautiful. I can’t wait to get both sets in black and chili pepper.

You have a sharp eye….I can’t get away with a thing. YES, it’s a new WHISPER KNIT and it will be in three colors, black being one of them. It’s a longer body for all those who keep asking for longer sweaters…….that’s all I’m saying because it won’t be avail for a few months anyway.
