Hi Louis, just in case you didn’t catch my early response, a beautiful pale pink with pink satin lapels, heaven! I would get both!
Much love….
Casey (aka KcFoxy) 11 Feb 2018
Black, dove grey, champagne. Midi length for skirt…would love to see one with godets or goring. Hugs to you and the girls!
T1 11 Feb 2018
Black.
Deepest, darkest navy.
LOVE the notched collar! Velvet would be beautiful, but would limit it as an all-season possibility.
louis dell'olio 11 Feb 2018
The problem is if you have a choice of two such dark colors, most will buy black and the other color/colors will sit….I think Black is the way to go so it sells, Then if it does well they will bring it back and I can always offer a second color. The last tuxedo wasa in two colors black and magenta, and that is exactly what happened. That’s why it was never reordered.
Maia 11 Feb 2018
Louis, please do your best to have the tuxedo jacket sleeves longer (1-2 inches) than the blazer sleeves. Several complaints in the blazer reviews.
Louis Dell'Olio 11 Feb 2018
Dear Maia, I can push for one inch, but they would never go with two which would be much longer than their standard.
Maia 11 Feb 2018
Thank you Louis!
Anonymous 11 Feb 2018
Ive given the magenta jacket lots of love! It’s beautiful. I also have a sorta tuxedo jacket you made in black that had sequin trim on the breast and front patch pockets. It’s amazing with the black sequin skirt.

Sable brown. Silver gray. Evening in Paris blue.
I have the boucle tuxedo jackets you did in black and magenta/black, with the black skirt to match. LOVE!

Susana 10 Feb 2018
A deep midnight blue. Not as dark as navy but with more royal blue in it.
Qulia 10 Feb 2018
Your gorgeous navy please. Would consider blackberry.
Susan (aka Carlytwila) 10 Feb 2018
Keep it simple and classic – black only! Ala Jac.
carol alexander 10 Feb 2018
First choice black, second choice deep midnight blue. Would love a small shawl collar in same color satin or another contrasting texture. Could the tuxedo body have a slight bit of stretch? I would buy both slacks and a short pencil skirt to match if both were offered. I’m so excited for a dressier look from my favorite designer.
carol alexander 11 Feb 2018
Interesting do we have two Carol Alexander’s
calexand
Grace 9 Feb 2018
Wow…this is exciting!!! I’d for sure buy black…and a black and/or indigo velvet would be amazing with a satin collar <3. In that case, I'd buy all three!
Marta 9 Feb 2018
I would love. Tux in your navy.
Fleur de Lis 9 Feb 2018
I really hope the buyers go for the tuxedo. My number one color would be black and I would really be excited to own a Linea tuxedo!
marcy in l a 9 Feb 2018
am i the only one who would enjoy a midi column skirt to go with the tuxedo jacket? i’d love the option of slacks or skirt. black or winter white – black trim is fine.
Kate 9 Feb 2018
A long skirt with a long jacket? Hmm, I dunno.
marcy in l a 9 Feb 2018
not a long skirt -a midi – to mid calf. not a maxi! i don’t know how long the jacket would be – but i do like the look of a long column of black. i know i am one of the last to wear skirts – just not that into slacks. i would love a good-looking feminine blouse to go with.
Seka 9 Feb 2018
Am wondering if the Faux Wrap Skirt A302561 in Black/Ivory would work with Louis’s Tuxedo Jacket.
Kate 10 Feb 2018
To me a “midi” skirt is a long skirt! All of mine are at the knee or an inch above.
marcy in l a 11 Feb 2018
oh. lengths go from mini (above knee), to knee length, midi (mid-calf), maxi (long).
Grace 9 Feb 2018
Actually, I can see a tuxedo jacket with a maxi-length straight skirt with a long slit up the side…I have a SJ jacket/skirt like that and the look is very elegant…
Joanne 9 Feb 2018
I would want black or alabaster. Black is first choice!
Sheesh 9 Feb 2018
Black, of course! But if the second color must have black satin trim, then I am thinking of Pink—but not necessarily Perfectly Pink—a slightly different, brighter pink, perhaps. I would buy both! Thank you, Louis, for asking.
Sheila/Sheesh
louis dell'olio 9 Feb 2018
Even with black satin stripes down the pants? It may look like a drum majorette….no?
Karen in WA 9 Feb 2018
he he he
Sheesh 9 Feb 2018
Oh, yeah, drum majorette–not good. I was mainly focusing on the jacket—like the Pink Jacket you did with the Black and Pearl trim! So then that’s a “no” for all light colors. I’m now saying Black and only Black—one and done! Put the other money toward something equally as wonderful! Or, give us a tuxedo skirt—I’d like that option, too! I’d by all three pieces in Black, for sure.
Sheila/Sheesh
WNYGAL/APRIL 9 Feb 2018
Is this going to be a shawl collar? If they’ll only do the black satin trims, then black, of course. I would also like to see it in a deep navy, & that’s the one I would buy. I have a silk chiffon maxi skirt that a navy tuxedo jacket would be the bomb with, & black satin trims would look fine on that IMO.
louis dell'olio 9 Feb 2018
No it’s a 3 button tuxedo jacket with notched lapels
Maia 9 Feb 2018
So happy you plan on a notch collar, Louis. Much better than a shawl collar for my narrow shoulders. Fingers crossed!
Sylvia Pickich 9 Feb 2018
Black would be my choice also…
unpeudemoi, aka Patricia 9 Feb 2018
Red, but only in the Jacket, otherwise full on tux, jacket & pants in Navy.
janice 9 Feb 2018
Champagne
Nancy law 9 Feb 2018
Black❤️❤️❤️❤️
Judi 9 Feb 2018
Black only…perfection!
Thanks for asking-
Jane J. 9 Feb 2018
Only black for me, Louis. Thank you for asking.
Clacina 9 Feb 2018
My vote is for Navy or Grey.
Chris/Jazzmom 9 Feb 2018
For some reason, my post went on the IPad with Maia’s name & e mail. The aubergine & olive comments were mine.

Seka 9 Feb 2018
Chris/Jazzmom – This is happening to another poster who informed me that my Nickname and email address are showing up on her Tablet – and when she posts it shows up under my name Seka. See below.
Seka 9 Feb 2018
Sorry, it’s under the Trench Coat colour discussion.
Chris/Jazzmom 9 Feb 2018
So it may be an I Pad issue? I hope it’s fixable. Thanks Seka for bringing this blog entry by LDO to the attention of us all.
Ruth 9 Feb 2018
It happened to me too. A post from Tricia went under my name “Ruth”.
Maia 9 Feb 2018
Other than black, probably navy. But for the more fashion forward of us how about olive with black lapels or aubergine (the color of the original V neck) with black lapels. I also could see an alabaster tuxedo jacket/pants.
Maia 9 Feb 2018
Above is not my post. I want only black, as I said below.
Chris/Jazzmom 9 Feb 2018
Maia, sounds like it’s an I Pad issue, your e mail & name you use was part of my comments. Anyone that uses an I Pad here, make sure your User Name is correct before posting. Sorry for the confusion.
Navy and perhaps a grey? Trimmed in black? Absolutely! I love the navy and black trench- so chic. Keeping my fingers crossed!
Kate 9 Feb 2018
Nope. Just black. Perfectly executed as always.
Judy M 9 Feb 2018
I would love your navy in a tuxedo suit, you do navy so rich
carol alexander 9 Feb 2018
Black would be a best seller for sure especially with satin lapels. Your navy would be nice as well.
Jane J. 9 Feb 2018
Only black for me, too. I’m not sure another color would sell well enough to recoup the cost of production.
unpeudemoi, aka Patricia 9 Feb 2018
Here, here!
Suellen/2E 9 Feb 2018
Only black for me, too. I’m not sure another color would sell well enough to recoup the cost of production.
Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe) 9 Feb 2018
Since the lapels and satin trim would need to be black, my second color choice would be blackberry. I think that blocking would be beautiful. I have your Stretch Crepe Stand Collar Jacket – A92305 – that I still wear and love. You do these types of jackets so well. This jacket and the red topper with black embroidery are my holiday mainstays when the weather dips down here in Florida.
Somersault 9 Feb 2018
Louis, only black for me! Since they won’t do a sequin pant, what do you think of a sequin stripe on the pant? Whatever you chose, will be fabulous! xoxoxo Cat
Hudson Valley Nancy 9 Feb 2018
Perfectly pink! Would be gorgeous… Everyone looks beautiful in pink!
Janey 9 Feb 2018
Louis, my dream would be black with black satin covered buttons but a burgandy/wine color would be my other choice. I missed my size in your beautiful Jac jacket (of course the reviews are excellent) but will be extra quick if the tuxedo arrives. Thank you. Janey
louis dell'olio 9 Feb 2018
Janey, be on the look out for returns. The reviews have been excellent but some bought the wrong size, so there will be returns, unless they go right out to wait list.
Black for me! Other than a winter white, anything other than black would remind me too much of grooms’ and groomsmen’s tuxes that are a color to match the bridesmaids’ dresses LOL! I would buy black
Ruth 9 Feb 2018
Winter white. I’m excited to see that this is moving forward. Tuxedos are a classic, but they seem very on trend right now. I would wear one with matching pants to a party and with jeans around town. Can’t wait to see how this progresses, Ruth
louis dell'olio 9 Feb 2018
Ruth….it would have black satin trims. Would you like that?
Ruth 9 Feb 2018
I have seen white tuxedo jackets with black trim, but I must admit that I wouldn’t buy that.
Ruth 9 Feb 2018
I will be most thrilled to see the black. I probably would buy two sizes – one would be quite fitted to wear with the matching pants and one a little oversized for a boyfriend look with jeans.
Seka 9 Feb 2018
Louis, Would love Alabaster!
Hoping your Buyer chooses your Tuxedo!
louis dell'olio 9 Feb 2018
It would have to have black lapels? They won’t dye such small yardage in alabaster to match. I think that would be very harsh…..no?
Seka 9 Feb 2018
My first thought was – Yes – it would be harsh, but then I remembered I own your colour blocked Cardigan in Alabaster/Black and I love it! Louis, for sure I would purchase the Black – both the Jacket and Pant. I do think that the Alabaster would be more versatile as a solid colour.
Red! And Hot Pink … much love…
