…………………….When I was deciding on the second color this dress should come in I had many ideas and choices…..should it be a color color like bright pink or turquoise, maybe yellow, should it be white or black??? So why did I decide on CAMO GREEN…….First, because it’s a very utilitarian color. It always brings to mind Safari and or Military which are both very strong inspirations for me. It is also a great neutral to ADD COLOR TO…..so, for all of you who will immediately say this will wash me out, I would have to say you have to think of all the colors you love that you could accent the Camo with. A colorful scarf, or wonderful jewelry could do the trick…….Just something to think about before you make a final decision. I have accessorized the dress with my NEW INCA JEWELRY. The PENDANT, J354070 will come with an earring, but not the one in the picture. It will be a simple single DROP PADDLE as the ones hanging from the pendant. This set is due in JUNE…. The TRIANGLE INCA EARRING, in the photo is a SEPARATE purchase. It is due this month. So many times really interesting earrings are dropped because the cost of the earring combined with the cost of the necklace is too much for QVC. So, I asked the buyers if they would purchase this fabulous INCA EARRING, J354044 separately and they agreed. It is important enough and makes a strong enough statement to be worn on its’ own. Instead of wearing it with the matching necklace all the time switch the necklace with a fabulous color gauze scarf.. What I want you to notice when it arrives is that there is NO FRONT OR BACK. Both sides are designed and finished the same. Now this may not seem like a big deal to you, but in the production and casting process it’s a big deal to the one who is making it. Normally the back side would be plain with some sort of simple surface. That is a much less expensive way to make a piece. Not so with these pieces. If the pendant should flip it will be the same on both sides. If someone should see the back of your earring it will be the same as the front….That’s just the way I like things done…..no corners cut…..Yes, it does make the pieces a little more expensive, but for me, to make these things the RIGHT way it very important…..Wearing a dress is so easy! You just put on your necklace, earrings and bracelets, scarves etc, then slip on some espadrilles, wedges, slides, sandals or mules. That should take all of 3 minutes. Thrown on your shoulder or cross body bag, some sun glasses, and off you go ready to enjoy the day and get ready to receive compliments……………………..enjoy……………………much Love……………………….Louis
I love this shade of green which looks like the traditional army fatigue jacket and has become a such a classic. This looks like a real winner.
I also love the camo denim dress and that earring! Glad to see these more unique & substantial earrings offered separately.
Ooops…just read the length is 38 inches and will be above the knee for me, so sadly, this won’t work. But, I have purchased all the maxi dresses, so no complaints here. I’m in maxi & midi heaven 🙂
Luv the camo! I wear the earlier sleeveless version you brought to us years ago I have the dark denim blue and the white so I definitely need the camo may get the blue too since it has sleeves! Thank you Louisxxxxx
My ‘Linea List’ just got longer! Will be getting both colors in this great dress, agree totally with queendiva that the denim blue is a ‘given’ and with green eyes and silver hair how could I pass on camo? I think camo looks good with wooden and/or neutral stone jewelry as well. Can’t wait, thanks Louis!
The blue dress is a no-brainer, but I might “need” this one, too as I love all shades of green, especially this lovely neutral.
