Something like a weighty Silk Cadet…..This Maxi dress will also be avail. in PETITE lengths. A304748 is the style number for the petite………….I have chose THREE unusual colors for this dress……the first being……….PRUNE……. It’s a hard color to describe, as all unusual colors are. It’s a mid range color and has a natural earthy quality about it…..like a berry or vegetable dye…. It has a modest scoop, and a somewhat A-line shape for easy walking. There is a back seam, and bust darts for shape. This would be an easy dress to custom tailor to your body if necessary. Since the dress already has weight, there was no need to line it. There are no zippers to fuss with….just pull it on………With it I have chosen the new NUGGET BEACH GLASS set, J353997, for a lighter, but still captivating look. Neither, it’s the lilac…..the necklace will come in 4 colors, lilac, rose [is on the peach mist sneak peek peasant blouse], khaki and blue which is actually Caneel blue. I don’t know why they shorted it to blue. It is not a classic blue. It actually more in the deep aqua family.These will be sold on the 4/17 [Tues.], 10pm QVC2 show.

I’m loving the prune!! Louis, I’m thinking about wearing it to a summer wedding belted with a plum & pink scarf & nude sandals!! Would it be to much to add the necklace & earrings as shown.Or should I wear silver jewelry?
Dear Evelyn, it’s hard to say without seeing it all. The long necklace on a belted dress may be a challenge. That’s a lot going on with the scarves. I think, again without seeing it all, one thing should go.

I am very excited by these colors. They have a slightly dusty organic tone like many of the Eileen Fisher/Garnet Hill type of designs.
I think that they are very chic and I look forward to wearing them (already moving past the buying stage..). I always wear a topper of some sort – cotton cardigan, etc. so that I don’t go out in sleeveless clothing.

Wowza! I am in love with the prune color because it is different from items I already have; however, the green will also be in my cart along with the necklaces. I am 5’4” so I will decide in regular or petite when I see length measurements. I am traveling domestic and international for leisure so will wear with low heel or flats. In fact, I just ordered three other Linea dresses on the Q’s free shipping day. Dresses on my senior curvy size 12/14 body are most comfortable in the heat of the summer. It is unfortunate we are having flurries in Wisconsin today.
I also love all three of these colors and would love to see them in a faux cadet silk in a beautiful shirt with roll up sleeves & breast pockets, one of my favorite looks. How elegant and sexy would THAT be?

These off-beat true designer colors actually cause me to salivate. I know, strange reaction. You’d think they were food. Color just affects me that way. You are an inspiration! Jac is with you!
Designista, color affects me in this exact same way. As a quilter I get this same reaction just walking into a fine fabric shop. And I’m extremely excited to get in line for this beautiful maxi! When is it coming? Maybe Louis said and I was too busy salivating to make note of it.
