“THE PORT FLORAL BOHO”

………………………….The FLORAL BOHO, A287620, has been posted for a while, so I thought it was about time you got to see what they actually looked like! Most of you know the skirt body and crinkle georgette fabric, but if you are new to Linea the Boho solid skirt is a garment I have been selling for 8 or 9 years, and more then 75,000 of them have been sold. The Floral Boho is one of the first prints done for this skirt in the same fabric just printed. This is a REORDER skirt. The first skirts were done in Black multi, Poppy Red multi and Bluebell multi………………….The PORT MULTI, above is a brand new color. Many of you know the Port color. It is a DEEP WINE, and it matches all of the Port sweaters I have done, and it will match all of the Port sweaters to come….hint…hint. Therefore you will be able to wear this Port skirt all SPRING/SUMMER and right through the FALL/WINTER……For the winter months just add some tights [PORT COMING], a Port WK sweater and Wine boots and you are set…..Maybe a PORT LEATHER jacket [coming] and you are complete, and looking marvelous!……Back to the present….I love the mix of the CARNATION PINK EMBROIDERED POPLIN WING COLLAR SHIRT, A304745 with the Port Floral. Of course there are many solid tops you can wear like the MELON MIST PEASANT BLOUSE, A306539. When I first showed this blouse I showed it with the Port Floral Boho…..check out the video of the blouse……..These skirts are the perfect for summer……light in weight and COOL, but you know that already…………………..enjoy………………….much Love…………………………..Louis

Several years ago, I purchased a midi/maxi dress which featured the boho skirt and a tank top in the blue. It was a one-piece dress. Any chance you could possibly make something like this again. I love that dress. Thanks.

I have one of your black boho skirts from several years ago, I cannot recall which one. For some reason I think mine might be a bit shorter than these. Is the length suitable for someone 5’ or slightly under? The problem with hemming many of these designs is the loss of detail or balance/proportion of the details. I rather like the black floral fabric. I bought both of your faux wrap printed skirts and they come down to about my ankles.

Correction. I misread this post as the black fabric. I like this port one best of the three.

Dear Rochelle, I have never seen anyone your height wearing any of the boho skirts so it’s hard for me to answer. It would also depend if you have a long torso and shorter legs or a shorter torso in comparison to your inseam. Amy who is 5’2″ was wearing the Tie Dye Boho and it looked great on her. You can look at her in the video and maybe judge if it would work on you. It would also depend what size you are. At your height the smaller you are the better it will look.It would probably be a maxi on you.

Here I thought that I had convinced myself that I didn’t need yet another boho skirt. How many do I have? I lost count long ago of both patterned and solid color ones. Then I had a close-up look of this one in Port, read your hints of more Port pieces to come for the cold weather months, and succumbed. I love bohos in winter with boots and always get many compliments when I wear them this somewhat unexpected way. Off to order mine!

Hi Barbara….you will be happy you did. The colors are really marvelous.

Yes, that was what I was hoping to get a close-up of! Thanks for posting it here!

I bought this skirt and the melon mist peasant shirt, and they are a perfect summer outfit. The port background shows as almost a mahogany, & it’s a really charming color combination with the flower print. From my closet, I pulled the spearmint lace jacket & natural tweed tank to try with this, & it’s a very pretty look as well, with the waist length jacket balancing the fullness of the skirt. Very summery. I am also happy to hear about the tights. I’ve been wearing my tobacco ones with my copper topper & wooden beads/gold leaves necklace for a heavily complimented look. Now, if you’d just design me some overalls for working in the garden, Louis…

Can’t get enough of these skirts and WK sweaters coming to match! Oh and tights! It’s time QVC saw the light and ordered more of your perfect tights. I have been trying to be oh so careful with the pairs I already own as replacements haven’t been available.
