………………………The SHADOW FLORAL, A343028, may very well be one of the prettiest prints I have ever done. To say it is sophisticated, chic, feminine, romantic, and totally DESIGNER would be an understatement………This is a PLACEMENT PRINT…..The flowers start at the upper right shoulder, and cascade down ACROSS the body to the lower left…….The printing is MASTERFUL……The screens and placement of color is expertly done…..It almost looks three dimensional…..SUPERB!…………..The color above is…..MAGENTA, but there are so many more colors in it. I call it the “Shadow Floral” because, what may at first glance look like a solid ground is actually a “shadow” of the floral print. All of the ground colors for all the blouses you will see are black, however the color of the shadow reflects the main color of the blouse, in this case a very dark magenta………….The fabric is NEW. It is a very GOSSAMER GEORGETTE. It may look somewhat sheer, but it is not see through on the body…It is soft and very light weight……like wearing nothing……It is approx. 28 1/2 inches for the XXS, so it could be considered a tunic length. Even at this length, the fabric is so light weight that it can easily be tucked into a pant or skirt…….The neckline is a shallow scoop, and is finished with a fine piping…….There is a center front INVERTED PLEAT with one additional pleat on either side.. This not only adds chest room, but gives the blouse a very romantic poet blouse effect. It drapes and flows over the body beautifully. The only measurement you need to be concerned with is the cross shoulder. The sleeves are long and have a two button narrow band cuff. There are side slits which allows the blouse to move and float when you walk……….The overall effect of the print is somewhat muted with some of the colors being slightly stronger for contrast. The cascading print is the same FRONT and BACK……………….Instead of going with a black pant I decided to use the BLACKBERRY Ponte pant which picks up the colors of the floral. I have used the PLUM NECKLACE SET, J356989 to accessorize the blouse……It’s just the right touch……………………I know this is a print and a blouse style you will love at first sight. It is so much more beautiful in person than any photo or showing on a model could capture………….This blouse will be on the Sat. at 7:00am QVC1 AM Style along with the dress which is third in the show…..When I saw the terrible pictures on the Linea site I had to post mine immediately!!!!!It is so much more beautiful then they made it look!…………………….enjoy………………………..much Love…………………………….Louis

This is indeed a glorious pattern. I love it in all its variations. Is there any chance you might create it again in a breathable, yet very drapey, fabric such as rayon or a rayon blend? Thank you. Many of us just cannot wear polyester, no matter how much we are told poly is “different” today.
Dear Barbara…..I don’t use woven rayon fabrics. They have a lot of slippage meaning the fabric pulls apart at the seams and if you take your two hands on the fabric and with your fingers pull the fabric in opposite directions the yarns separate. There have been too many quality control situations and rejections at QVC on these types of fabrics. My manufacturer, who manufactures for 3 other labels, refuses use it.I know there are rayon wovens being used on QVC, but I can tell you all woven rayon fabrics i have seen have this problem.
Thank you for the response.
But are there no other options than polyester? Surely this cannot be true. That is why I included “such as” in my question. Rayon is one option; surely there are others. What about blends? Or what about a rayon or rayon/blend knit?
It’s too lovely a print to be relegated to only polyester.
I still own a few rayon woven items. They are in good condition for having been purchased in the early 1990s.
You’ve done such a magnificent presentation with this garment. I do hope it exceeds sales expectations.
Best wishes.
p.s. Those rayon woven tops, they were not from QVC. My better quality clothing is not from QVC, in case that wasn’t clear.
I understand QVC tries to limit you. Sorry about that.
Hi Louis
I guess I am also dense. From your description of these beautiful blouses, I understand that each blouse is black with your beautiful pattern in various colorizations on each blouse.
Thanks you
Sorry to be so dense..”All of the ground colors for all the blouses you will see are black, however the color of the shadow reflects the main color of the blouse, in this case a very dark magenta” What is the difference between the main color and the ground color? In other words, for example, are the sleeves black or dark magenta? When I enlarge the cuff on the sleeve it almost looks like iridescent.
The background on all the shirts are black. The shadow print on each blouse is a dark version of the blouse. i.e. the slate blue blouse has a black ground along with the sleeves [there is no area that is solid black], The shadow [flowers and leaves] is a very dark blue, almost black, so from a distance it looks black, but when you get closer you see a faint pattern on the black. This makes it look dimentional
Wow, Thanks. Magenta for me. 🙂
Like a walk thru Giverny’s garden. I have a Fortuny-style pleated midi skirt that’s crying it’s lonely little heart out for this blouse, and that new glass beaded necklace is absolutely perfect with it.
Oh April…that sounds perfect!
Thank you for these pictures!! Gosh what a gorgeous blouse. So special. As someone that lives in jeans, I’m leaning toward the blue, but all the colors are gorgeous!! The rose is especially nice for fall. And I’m a purple girl so the orchid is calling my name. You have made me love florals and prints! Wore the new violet ombré today and loved it! So pretty. 💜
Please tell us about the necklace & earrings. They look pretty.
The necklace and earring set will be offered with the Big Deal on the 21st. It is a 5 station necklace meaning 5 groups of graduated faceted glass beads……
Your pictures are sooo much better. As always. The blouses are so lovely!
