………………………………Forest Green…..is one of the important colors of the “LINEA” season, and it seems to be one of the trend colors at QVC. Along with the sweater I will be offering everyone’s favorite pant……The SUPER PONTE BOOT CUT, now in both Reg. and Petite!…..and MORE, hint hint!…..Everyone loves a column of color. How could you not….nothing will help you to look taller and slimmer. These pants, with this sweater, will do it. Each of the sweaters has its’ own emb. colors. With the Forest Green there are SAGE GREEN leaves through out with brighter blue green, pinks, red, coral, mint, orchid and aqua……The necklace is fascinating because the faceted glass beads have different shades of sage within the glass. These different shades makes the necklace compatible with many different color tops………For all of my GREEN LOVERS, this is for you, and for those of you who don’t have much green in your closet, it’s time to break out and try something new!…….It’s going to be one of the IMPORTANT COLORS OF THE FALL/WINTER SEASON!…………….enjoy………………….much Love………………….Louis

Louis, you KNOW this forest green embroidered sweater will be coming home to me! Your embroidery, past and new, is extraordinary. And I know a bit about embroidery: my late father owned an embroidery company for many years– this was the sort of large bolts of tissue thin fabric with lots of multi-stitches, Schiffli embroidery, crafted on very large machines (from Switzerland or Austria) that handled 10 to 15 yards of fabric at a time. Unfortunately this entire industry died a few decades ago in the US (it was largely based in northern New Jersey for decades)and everything moved overseas to China and, for a time, the Phillipines. At one time, my dad had a license from Disney to make embroidered hem curtains with Mickie and Minnie designs, for kid’s rooms. And at one point he had a contract to make military patches for our armed forces. But what he loved was the fashion designs. He designed and made the fabric for my first Communion dress, and I saved a large piece of it that was used many, many years later to craft my bridal veil.
See what memories your beautiful embroidery designs bring back to me???– Blinddogs
So happy to hear from you Blinddogs! There will be many things this fall in Forest green for you all to mix together. Did you happen to get the ponte pant? It is a perfect match……Memories….at a certain point in our lives that is all we have. I was watching the documentary of Joan Rivers two days ago….it was like a sweet visit with her. She was talking about her friend and assistant Jerry who was with her from the very beginning…..before Edgar. Unfortunately, she had to cut him loose because of his personal demons. She was lamenting this tragic loss for her, because she said he was the only person she could share so many memories they lived through together that she couldn’t share with anyone else. It made me sad….It made me think of Jac and all the memories we had together that I can’t reminisce with anyone else. Jac remembered so much more than I did. I counted on her for those wonderful memories. When she would share a memory with me that I had no recall of she would would say to me, “what, am I in this by myself!” I am so glad I was able to bring back some wonderful memories for you! Don’t be a stranger!!
