Sending prayers to all the Linea Ladies, their families and their furr babies who are in the path of Florence.
Thank you Louis for yet again demonstrating why we all feel like a Linea family…even those of us who have only recently begun to communicate , despite that we have been around. Thank you too for giving us an opportunity to offer those in the path of Florence our thoughts and prayers for safety. Love to you all, Pamela in SS but not on coast.
Dear Pamela…..the Linea family of women is not an exclusive group. We welcome All to join in on our conversations. The minute you post here you are automatically a member, and very welcome!
Thanks to everyone for your prayers, so thoughtful! We’re also expecting a heavy hit in Raleigh, just inland from ground zero at Wilmington, NC. Evacuees from the NC beaches are pouring into town. Please keep praying, we need it.
Dear Louis,
Amen. Wishing all of you well. Had to cancel a trip from the West Coast to Virginia to celebrate my aunt’s 93rd birthday because she said they were expecting 20 inches of rain. Yikes! Hoping that the storm veers off into the ocean!
Best to all,
Pam
My prayers go out to all who might be affected. Please take precautions. My son has a friend who lives in Montecito( near Santa Barbara) who refused to leave during the torrential rains early this year. There was a flash flood and it was a disaster. The Mom and one of the children ended up in intensive care but survived. Two of their other children, along with many others ,didn’t make it. Please, please be safe.
Yes, prayers to all of you. Harvey is still fresh in our minds here in Houston. So please, please be safe and move to higher ground!
Don’t know why message was placed under Chei’s name
Having spent time in the south on vacations my heart goes out to all of you who will be affected by this hurricane. Please listen to officials and stay safe! Know that you are all in our hearts and prayers. All our love from Ohio!
Dear Louis,
The prayers and wonderful messages I’ve gotten from the Linea Ladies on your blog are really heartwarming. Husband and I are staying put since we have not been asked to leave.
Beryl,
I am worried about you…….I, too, live in NC (in the mountains), and I just heard that as of today, Wilmington is projected to be at or very close to the spot that the hurricane makes landfall. I don’t intend to alarm you, but rather, am hoping that you have been properly advised about the need for evacuation. Please do not hesitate to let me know if there is anything I can do to help you and your husband. Jean
I hope Florence loses her ferocity. It is now to be a Cat 3 when it makes landfall, I heard.
May all of those in the path of the storm’s fiercest moments be safe as well as though who are affected by her other powers.
Everyone, stay safe!
Oops, my age is showing again.
“…as well as THOSE who are affected by…”
My prayers go out to all affected by the storm, I happened to be in the path also. I live near Charleston, SC ,but about 25 miles from the coast. Last big storm was Hugo in 1989. We are in a safe place!
Yes, you are all in my prayers. As someone who experienced Hurricane Katrina, I will be thinking of you in the days to come. I hope the intensity downgrades, or it veers towards the Atlantic.
Dear Louis,
Thanks for your message. I’m in Wilmington,NC and we’re going to be hit hard.
Oh Beryl….please take all precautions to be safe
