……………………….For the Holiday season I am offering one dress, and I think it is a beauty…..A343619 for reg, and A343620 for petite…..This is a mixed media dress…..meaning there are two fabrics in the design. The top of the dress is BLACK STRETCH VELVET, and the bottom skirt part of the dress is a SIX PANEL MOSS CREPE. As you can see in the photos it has a BALLET neckline, long sleeves, and is a MIDI length. The dress is sized S,M,L. There is a raised waist seam, which is higher in the front and gracefully curves downward towards the center back. There are no zippers needed since there is lots of stretch to both fabrics.. The shape follows the lines of the body. If you buy it too big you will loose the shape!!! I often read reviews where the comment is the garment was shapeless. The garments are not shapeless….they just bought it in TOO BIG a size. When you look at the garment measurements, remember there is a lot of stretch……The skirt part of the dress flows and has just enough fabric for a beautiful drape. The sweep you see in the photos is very accurate…….How you accessorize will determine where you can wear this dress. I think this dress would look great with the short Black Leather jacket, the new Black Leather topper , and the new Black Blazer would all work perfectly with the dress……..The Art Nouveau pendant on the left is less dressy than the Seed Pearl, Jet and Crystal Ball bead torsade on the right [I have layered TWO necklaces in the photo]. It really isn’t necessary, but I like abundance!….They are part of my Nov. delivery……You could either wear beautiful BOOTS or a BOOTIE or a PUMP with this dress. I strongly recommend when wearing a bootie it should be close fitting to the leg. When wearing either a bootie or a pump, BLACK TIGHTS or BLACK SHEER HOSE should be worn. For me, it is a more finished look. It is a pet peeve of mine to see bare legs with a midi dress in the fall and winter, but that’s just my opinion…………….One on the best things about this dress is the COMFORT!. I want you not only to always look your best, but you should always be comfortable in what you’re wearing……………………………enjoy……………………..much Love………………………………Louis

i travel on business and sometimes need a dress for dressy business functions. I bet I can stuff this dress in my small suitcase and it will come out of the suitcase without wrinkles. I own your Linea moss crepe A-line skirt with v neck peplum top from a few seasons ago in both black and navy. Besides being slimming outfits, those two Linea outfits are my summer go to for business traveling as I can dress them up or down. I am happy I will now have a winter dress to take for business that will also emerge from my suitcase without wrinkles.
Dear Joanne, while this dress is certainly easy to pack, I would be a little careful with the velvet. I would still recommend tissue.

Dear Jeancp, no I won’t be selling the cloche hat. It is a velvet hat. It’s Jac’s. Jac got it in Italy. Georgio Armani gave it to her. He showed it in one of the collections she fit and showed for him. He thought she should have it. She rarely wore it, but when she did, Jac looked so beautiful and mysterious. It sat low over the eyes.

I also spotted the beautiful hat but didn’t initially remark. I’m sure Jac looked gorgeous in it- what didn’t look good on her!. I have been on the hunt for a nice cloche for a few years now. Many offerings online but I’d rather touch/see/wear in person.
Looking forward to the show. Sore subject but I never did get my Port 12 Blazer or a backup pair of petite blk pants. I plan on being up @ midnight to order the sequin pants and hope that all the dedicated Linea Ladies are able to secure and receive their orders.

Perfect dress! Louis, I wore your black moss crepe short sleeve midi dress and black moss crepe tank dress constantly this summer – they were absolutely right for any occasion – casually with flip flops or dressed up with strappy high heel sandals. I’m thrilled that you’ve done a winter version. And velvet is always so romantic! Love the ballerina vibe.
I purchased a black mixed media dress with velvet and some other fabric from Saks over Labor Day weekend. It pales in comparison to what I see here. I bet your dress will be priced at less than $100. I paid $600.
