……………………………FINALLY!!!!!!!! It only took EIGHT YEARS and SEVEN BUYERS to finally get a buyer to agree to buy these pants!!!!!! You would think I was asking them to buy the Hope Diamond!!! I sometimes think the SOPHISTICATION of the LINEA WOMAN is underestimated, or that you are not willing to spend more for something super special. I truly can not recall one item that the price was not justified, and more times then not was more than reasonable….There are times when leisure clothes are just not appropriate………………….The pant will be offered in two lengths, A343617 for the regular length which I believe is approx 32 inches, and A343618 for the petite length………What makes these pants truly beautiful is the size of the sequin, and the coverage. They are BABY, TINY sequins. I don’t believe sequins are made any smaller. By using this size sequin all you see is the glittering effect they give, and not big shiny discs. Sometimes larger sequins, for certain garments, are more desirable, but for a separate pant I find the tiny sequins more expensive looking. They are sewn onto a very light weight knit fabric so there is a lot of stretch, and literally weightless. They are fully lined also in a knit fabric, and the waist band too is in a knit fabric, so there will be no scratching on the skin…….The leg is easy, but does tapper slightly. The large BLOW UP picture of the sequins shows you just how small the sequins are…………..When and where and how you wear these pants is up to you and your personal style. I am willing to bet you have MANY MANY things in your possession right now that would look great with BLACK SEQUIN PANTS…….For example…..a white wing or button down cotton shirt, a beautiful ivory blouse, a georgette black or ivory peasant top, just the right print top, a sweater in ANY STYLE or COLOR, a dressy hoodie, a jean jacket, a blazer, a Chanel type jacket, a boucle jacket…..maybe you own the one with the pearl and ribbon trim or one of my many ivory or black crepe vintage Linea jackets…..How about a NEW TUXEDO JACKET, like the one above coming in Nov!!!!!!!! I really could go on and on and on. The possibilities are endless. If you think about what you would wear a solid black pant with, just substitute it with the black sequin pant, and see if it makes sense to you. I’m sure with the right accessories you can make a sequin pant look great with anything……….These are NOT PONTE PANTS….meaning they are not IRON. They should be treated with care. I would not recommend sitting on a wicker or rough surface. The sequins are attached with thread and you don’t want to snag them. You can hang them, but I would keep two plastic bags over them like dry cleaner bags. Why TWO? It’s an old trick I learned at AK when we would pack up clothes for a fashion show in an outside venue. First, you put one plastic bag over the garment, and slit it up one side so it doesn’t crush the garment. Then you put the second one on top and slit it up on the THE OPPOSITE SIDE. This allows air circulation, and as I said, it doesn’t crush or hold in the garment . If you prefer to fold them and store in a draw then make sure there is tissue paper between each fold so the sequins aren’t up against each other. When traveling you should do the same thing with the tissue paper. This may seem like a lot of care, but the better you treat them the longer they will be there fore you……..These pants can be worn all year…..Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. Think of all the events that come up during a year that you can wear a black sequin pant…….weddings, parties, engagements, special events…..you will never be wondering…”what can I wear”…..and they are super COMFORTABLE!…..In closing I will say, everyone who has seen them, every model and host, even the buyer! wants them. Word spread around QVC about these sequin pants…..You would think they WERE the Hope Diamond! The quantity is not big, and I will be shocked if they don’t sell out in a nano second, so I hope all of you who are interested get them. I really don’t want to hear about “back orders” and “wait lists” for my Linea Women!………They will be shown on my Oct. 3rd, 10:00am show on the main channel……………………….enjoy……………………….much Love………………………..Louis

Dear Cathy….We will not be manufacturing any more sequin pants this year as we are full steam ahead manufacturing Spring 2019. I will be surprised if many wait list orders come through as the pant was very popular and fit well.

No, they are totally different. The pant has more sequins and more coverage, plus it’s a totally different knit.

I just wonder…Is anyone NOT getting the sequin pant? This pant has become the IT item of the Linea season, which is saying a lot given all the amazing pieces coming our way. I already have in mind many occasions–dress and casual–and many pieces to wear with these pants. Now, all I have to do, is score a pair 🙂

From what I am reading, the sequin pants will sell out quickly and therefore, you will be able to say to the buyers “ I TOLD you I know my Linea customer”. I am soooooooo ready to have these pants. They will be a special, unique item in my wardrobe collection that I will take care of carefully and keep them forever. I just need to make sure I stay the same weight!! LOL. Thanks again for giving us something no one else is offering. I think I will wear these pants with the two faceted black 72 inch long necklaces I have of yours. More sparkly! And the top? Perhaps something in Alabaster. The pants are sold at a perfect time. Come November and December, there are lots charitable balls, country club events, holiday parties, holiday weddings, and cocktail parties. My husband and I may be seniors but we still LOVE to dress up for a special night out. Why not? Even if we stay in for Christmas or New Year’s by ourselves, I would wear these at home and the entire evening will be special. Well…gotta have them.
It looks like there is a cuff on the bottom. Like the sequins have a different pattern. Is that my imagination? I am very excited about these.

Yes that’s fine. they are knit and have good stretch. I am just saying not to set on anything that can catch onto the sequins. That would be true for any sequin or lace bottom.
I am a 2X in leisure pants..I like the stretch. Will I take a 2X in these. Can I hand wash then. Can’t wait!!!!!!!!

I know you’re really busy getting ready for the show. How exciting to see that the new Sequin pants will be presented. I waiver between lengths and can wear sometimes a petite if the leg opening is slimmer in diameter. The new suiting pant @ 32″ is very long and I have to have them altered; I’m 5’6″. Could you please tell me the measurement for the leg opening on the new Sequin pant.

Same question. Regular with 32 inseam are too long and petite with 29 inseam are a tad short on me. I think I am high waisted hence the problem. Is it easy to alter the length on these pants? I don’t wear heels so altering is the only way. No matter what, I ll get these pants and then think of altering or not haha.
Dear Pratt….altering should be no problem as the lining is not attached to the hem of the pant.
