My apologies for my call out to you! I don’t know why I said Carol???? I knew very well it was you who had the fabulous idea of mixing your PL sweater with the velvet dress….Brain freeze! If they ever show the dress again, and I’m sure they will since it did not sell out, I will be sure to give you a call out again…..and not call you Carol!……..Okay I have a question……I ordered the sequin pant for my sister in law. She really wants it and she was in Bermuda. I placed the order, now how do I find out if it was shipped or has gone to back order or any other other foreign land QVC sends things?

Oh, Louis, this is so thoughtful and kind of you! So like you to think about others feelings, but no apology necessary. I was so honored you mentioned me (by any name) at all! You have so many of us to keep track of, so it’s understandable. I was actually relieved to hear you didn’t think my idea was totally wacky! I loved the show and wound up with another wonderful haul, including those elegant velvet dresses! Thanks, again, for your graciousness.
Grace, that’s not wacky at all! It’s a look I’ve not only seen at RL but catalogs like Gorsuch and Sundance.
Louis, I’m born/raised in NY area, but for as long as I’ve lived in Colorado, I’ve seen this look in the mountain resorts (mostly Vail). I finally realized it was all Ralph Lauren, his inspiration drawn from these same mountain towns & “real” cowboy wear adapted & refined. I love the RL western/SW mixed in with the preppy classics. (Think he still has a ranch in Ouray, CO) Funny you mention Gorsuch…in their main store in the center of Vail Village, there’s lots of velvet, herringbone tweed jackets, denim, long flannel buffalo print skirts, concho belts, Lucchese cowboy boots at very high price points. Your beautiful, elegant velvet dress here would cost hundreds & be an instant sellout. Here the RL look is down-to-earth mainstream and easily mixes in with the Patagonia wear, but on 5th Ave. and elsewhere, I guess it’s more of a fashion statement.
Hi Louis!
I surely hope that your order for the Sequin pants goes through without any glitches. That would really be something if you “Mr. Top Rated” wasn’t able to get the order fulfilled. I ordered 2 of the sequin pants in different lengths. I didn’t open the 2nd pair. If you have a problem with your order I have a M regular available. Just give me a shout!
Thanks for all you do!
Dawn
Thanks Dawn….I checked and it said I should get them by 10/11. My SIL is an xxs reg…..worst comes to worst I can give her my sample!
Louis, if you ordered it, then it means you have an account.G up to the top right of the page where it says Welcome Guest. Hit the drop down arrow, then click on Order Status. You’ll then have to sign in with your ID and password, then your orders will show up. You can click on the order number and then it sill show the order plus a tracking # if it has shipped. Id it says In Process OR the dreaded Backorder, then it has not shipped.
Sheila
To further add, you should receive an e mail from QVC saying the item has shipped. Generally lately, I get the UPS notification e mail 24 hours ahead of the QVC e mail. Generally depending on how many items are ordered, QVC will ship via UPS & then to send to USPS which delays your receiving iyour items by an additional day.
Thanks Shelia…that was very easy. It gave me a delivery date of 10/11 so I guess the order went through?!
Checking on your order status: Go to “My account” at the top of the QVC web page and use the drop down menu to go to “order status”. After entering your acct name and password, your order should show up. It will; say if it has shipped. For further info: click on “view order” to see tracking # if it has shipped. When you don’t see any option to cancel your order, you know that it has begun to process. Hope this helps. LOVED your show Wednesday. I’m anxiously awaiting your sequin pants(plus many other items)….they have shipped.
