…………………….The Tuxedo can have many lives and incarnations………….Many Holiday parties are “CASUAL DRESSY”. I can’t think of a more fabulous way to dress than the TUXEDO jacket over the WHITE WING COLLAR SHIRT, [ I told you the wing collar works great with everything, and the “Wing Collar” was created FOR TUXEDOS!]…..Then pair the two with you dressy jeans, not the ones you do your gardening in!…….You often hear designers say “I look to the streets for ideas”. What that translates to is we are looking at the young people, and how they put themselves together. This pertains to both girls and boys, Many buy their clothes in second hand stores. They have a very unique and exciting, and uninhibited way of dressing. They wouldn’t think twice about wearing a tuxedo jacket with jeans or a prairie dress and boots….Think Madonna in “Desperately Seeking Susan”…..Jac loved this look….it was very her. Jac had her own collection of Tuxedo jackets she bought during her modeling days. Most times they were men’s in a small size…Jac liked the strong shoulders and the narrow hip fit..She had a white tuxedo with a white shawl collar she picked up in the Paris flea market…..Jac wore it with a black silk shirt and SKINNY jeans on our first “official” date. Jac had an assortment of black ones too, and some were even mine!. Her favorite casual way to wear her black one was with a white button down, jeans and SNEAKERS….Maybe a cowboy boot is your thing…When wearing a Tuxedo casually…THINK OF THIS JACKET AS ANY OTHER BLACK BLAZER….It’s about having the right attitude and a relaxed way of being…..It’s a mind set…..This will be perfect for any dressy casual occasion, and great as a daytime blazer too….IT’S A MIND SET!!!!. Add some fabulous jewelry like my TUXEDO NECKLACE and EARRING SET, combined with my new JET TASSEL NECKLACE to complete the look….Don’t let these fabulous pieces slip through your fingers. It’s not often I get to do dressier jewelry!………The Tuxedo is something to wear DAY or Night………..All you need is a little imagination…..Ladies it’s time to PLAY!”……………………………………………………………Happy Holidays…………………………enjoy……………..much Love………………………..Louis

Well, we can all see why you fell so hard for Jac. She pulled out the heavy artillery for that date. You were toast!
If you get to reorder, I’d really like an ivory or white version, too.
Me too Carol…..because so many of you have already asked about doing the trench and the blazer [if they get reordered] in winter white, I inquired about it with my manufacturer. She didn’t think it would be possible because the factory charges more to produce white clothes. You would be surprised that there are many factories who REFUSE to make white clothes, because there are a lot of garments that have to be discarded. When white clothes are produced the factories, to make them correctly, should clean the facility and the sewing machines. This is done to keep the garments clean while being handled. It would either be up to my manufacturer or QVC to absorb the increase in price. Guess who would have to absorb the price. If you start with winter white then the price is built in, but to add it would be difficult.I don’t remember QVC ever having two prices for the same garment, one for white clothes and a lower price for colors.
Louis, it’s the same with dry cleaning which is why, sometimes, your coats or pants do not come out entirely “white”. It has to do with the fluid which will make the white a little dingy after several uses. This happened to a white coat I had years ago, so I learned when they would be putting in new fluid and make sure my white coats and gaberdine pants were, always, in the first or second batch!
Sexy in an understated, classy way. Doesn’t get much better. Thank you, Louis, for bringing us pure joy and taking us to new heights with your creative vision. Never would I be buying a tuxedo jacket were it not for Linea!
To die for!!!!! Beautiful! So very sexy!
I just remembered! I also have a tuxedo that my grandfather wore to Woodrow Wilson’s inauguration as President of Princeton University. My grandfather was a professor there. He was a slight man, and I bet I could wear his jacket now. It will be interesting to compare the two.
I have to chuckle, Louis. I once met Garrison Keillor and had the chance to visit with him for a while. He was wearing an ancient tuxedo jacket, jeans, and red sneakers. The look suited him! He was here as a long-time friend of our locals, Robin and Linda Williams, and did a show with them. Very interesting man.
I have been pining for a tuxedo jacket for a long, long time, and ordered this beauty immediately, along with the Tuxedo Necklace. Can’t WAIT to get it!
