I wanted to post this picture to remind you of the jewelry I will be showing with the Hounds Tooth Check group. The GOLD and GUNMETAL in the 36 inch LOVE KNOT necklace, A270122, are already SOLD OUT. The only color remaining is the SILVER. My jewelry rep has told me, that the silver is very limited and close to selling out too!…..and they have only been list for a few weeks…..so….if you are interested….I wouldn’t wait to long. The 18 inch LOVE KNOT necklace is still avail in all colors, but the quantities are diminishing. Personally, I love the two lengths worn together. It looks like you wrapped the long one around your neck and the shorter one happens to sit perfectly.
It’s the same story for the cross necklace and earrings….only the silver remains. I know when I show all of these pieces on the 19th they will be gone….so I wanted to give a heads up to my Linea Ladies. I love the CHAIN HOOP earring, A267610, mixed with the KNOTS and the CROSSES. I know, for some of you they may be a bit heavy, but I can honestly say they are no heavier than any other “runway” earring I have done in the past……actually lighter. I asked Jac to try them on and she found them comfortable and has worn them…… she has had all types of earrings on doing runway shows for many designers here and in Europe. Of course everyone is different….if you think you can wear them I highly recommend them…..they are too cool. To finish the look off….. there is my new GUNMETAL WATCH, A270046. This fits an average wrist. If you have a small wrist you can wear it on top of your sweater sleeve. It really shows up beautifully on top of a black, or violet sleeve……really….any color………………RED!

Hi Louis – Is there news on whether the new jewelry contains nickel? (gunmetal watch, rose watch, gunmetal chains). I think my previous question dropped off the viewing area.

Hi Susan….I do know that the watch has nickel….I will check with my jewelry manu. about the other….they are made by to different companies. The watch is made by a watch company not a jewelry company which sometime there is a cross over. I prefer to work with a company that specializes in watches only.
My jewelry manufacturer just got back to me and said ALL of the jewelry is nickle free. I know there was one case where a customer said she broke out from one of the earrings and I question my manufacturer about it and assured me that there is absolutely zero nickle used in the product.
Thanks so much for checking. I had worn the watch with a new bracelet and was trying to determine which was causing my breakout. I have not had problems with the earrings or necklace, so it appears my skin continues to be a reliable nickel detector! I liked the suggestion I read earlier to wear the watch over a sweater and will make sure to do so. The watch is so pretty – I cannot return!

Sorry for the problem with the nickel. I had no idea the watch company uses nickel……I will speak to them about future watches.

I have the cross necklace in silver, and it looks very vinttage – just an outstanding, unusual piece. I would love some bracelets in this treatment – maybe a nice, substantial cuff? I bet i would get scooped up in a heartbeat.
I missed out on the gold long love knot, so I’m on the waitlist for it. I hope enough people waitlist so that it will be reordered.
I was fortunate to have ordered the gunmetal pieces in time, as well as the gold multicross necklace and earrings. I am one of the tiny wrist ladies who has a hard time with bangles. I ordered the gunmetal watch, and when I first tried it on, I was not sure it was going to work for me. The second time I tried it on, I had on a long sleeve sweater, and it not only worked perfectly for me, but it looked incredible.
Ladies, take it from a tiny wrist, it is perfect over a sleeve, and I actually prefer how it looks that way. Try it, you’ll love it!
I’m going to put in another request for some additional dangles for the drop earrings: a gold fluted drop and a jet drop that could be sold as a set with maybe a pearl top? I love the idea of having a whole wardrobe of mix and match in that drop earring.
Can’t wait for the new olive/burgundy/persimmon bead necklaces. Those are a must have with all the tweeds!

I love the watch over the sleeve too, and the rose gold looks great with the walnut, caramel, olive etc….it also looks great with the tweed jackets. I’m working on a drop earring with a black and gold drop…we’ll see if they choose it.

Lucky me that I fell in love with the knot necklaces immediately and bought both sizes in the gold and in the gunmetal. I love the way they look together – finally I’m able to achieve that look without the longer length shifting and making the shorter length a choker (literally).
I’m still pining for the horse bit necklace that you showed several times, but especially in Sneak Peek #8 on December 1, 2011. That would make a nice addition to the Linea jewel box, wouldn’t it?
No matter what, keep them coming!
That’s the one….it will come in colors to match the Baroque cross, but I think they are calling the “Caged Cross”, because the color cross is a separate piece that is caged in the gold. I believe the cross will be in soon, but I think the station necklace is coming later……I will check. Once they arrive at QVC, I never know how long it will take to process them and get posted.
Ah good! Thanks! As long as I know that station necklace is COMING…..I’ll be wired and ready to SPRING when it arrives 🙂 And if the cross comes in first at least I’ll get to see what color ways I’m planning for.
Louis, I have to tell you that Sunday was my birthday so I wanted to look and feel my best and I wore the olive border print top over my Linea aubergine turtleneck and the olive boho and my husband said it was a WOW. Later that day he told me it was one of his most favorite outfits – which says a lot because I have an awful lot of drop-dead Linea options. Anyways, while at Church a precocious little 7 year old girl came up to me to tell me how much she really liked my necklace. I was wearing your two station necklaces with the jewel colors which goes so well with the border print caftan tops. So I let her feel it and touch the “fruit” pieces and the gems in various shapes and pointed out to her the muted almost brushed-gold of the chain and and she loved it even more. It was so CUTE! I don’t know Louis, I’m afraid you are going to have to keep on working for an awfully long, long time yet into the future for when this little girl becames a Linea youth or a Linea Young Lady 🙂 I was also wearing your domed shell chili pepper red stretch bracelet which just shocked me at how perfectly it went with the aubergine turtle AND the olive top. It was great. That bracelet in chili pepper is a total chameleon as it goes beautifully with red of many shades – but that’s only the beginning! It goes with SO many other color combos. Another lady stopped me to ask how on earth I got a gorgeous bracelet like that which perfectly matched my sweater. “A lucky accident – of genius!” I told her. Name of Del’Olio 😉
Louis, any news on when the black and gold station necklace you are currently showing on one of the pics in the black and white houndstooth check pieces? The picture with the red turtleneck and the hounds tooth black and white skirt. And I’m thinking I’ve also seen it either in your shows or in your sneak peaks in other colors besides black and gold – would that be right? You usually couple it with the large single cross necklace in the same colors. When do you think they may find themselves online at the Q? (aka TheOwl)
