I wanted you all to know that the sweater above, A228340, plus the two printed velvet pieces are now avail. for ordering. I went to the Linea site, but I didn’t see them. My buyer said they were up, so maybe there’s a trick I don’t know about. Anyway….I am pleased that these three pieces were released before the show so that anyone who wants them will have a great chance of GETTING THEM!! By the way, the magenta cardigan above looks great with the purple crushed velvet long skirt [which I think is on sale] and the new violet HTC scarf,,,,,it’s a real mish mash, but it looks fabulous together…..enjoy
The “Shabby Chic” sweater is now AVAIL.

Dear Louis: As of 11:14 a.m. (Mountain Time) it’s not up yet. In fact, QVC.com was down in the early morning but is now up – maintenance again.
Good morning, Louis,
Sorry to say, but the Ask Louis section isn’t working again — or at least not for some of us.
Jane
I will check into this….again….I have no idea why this keeps happening.
Louis, I’ve been anxiously waiting for these sweaters since you posted the first sneak peek. Now that I’ve put in my orders for the teal and the spruce green, I’m a happy girl. Thanks to you and the PTB at QVC for making these available ahead of the show!
By the way, are you aware that the “Ask Louis” section of this blog seems not to be working again? I so enjoy reading the Q&A’s and learn so much from your answers to everyone’s questions!
I wasn’t aware that it wasn’t working, but it seems to be working now. I don’t understand these thing at all.
Greetings, Louis.
I have two questions. (1)Is the magenta sweater a magenta or more of a purple? On the QVC website, it appears to be purple. (2) Will the new tarragon velvet top work with the tarragon pleated skirt from the last show? Thanks so much!
Deedy
Hi Deedy……..Yes the tarragon velvet top and the Sunburst pleated skirt do go together. These velvet pieces were designed to go with the tweeds and tarragon and walnut solid pieces, however there were too many items for two hours so they got moved to this show. I would say the magenta is more purple than red since it looks great with the purple crushed velvet long skirt from last year.
Thanks, Louis. I am now ready to shop!
hello Louis,
I have been debating whether the purple sweater work with the chilipepper border print skirt with the side ruffle. Your answer will help me decide which color to get. Thankyou for the info
Dear Nikki….when I first read your question my reaction was…no…it’s a strange combination, but I have seen stranger things so I took a look. I did not care for the magenta sweater with the lavender ribbon with the skirt, but oddly enough I didn’t mind the green or teal with it. Don’t get me wrong…it’s still an unusual combination and people may look at you thinking you got dressed in the dark…LOL…..however it is something that you might see in Anthropology or some other store that has quirky things. What ever you choose….the sweater is a terrific fun item to have in any color.
The fabric has a Lot of stretch….definitely go by relaxed wait size or it will be falling off…..it’s not a pencil skirt!
Hi Louis,
Experience has taught us to search by item number in the search box to locate these ‘new items’.
How much stretch does the velvet skirt have? Should we go by relaxed waist size and hope the hips fit?
I ordered the tarragon pieces in the stretch velvet and the walnut velvet top to go with the black velvet pants I have from a few years ago.
Regards,
Chris
