Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all enjoying the fall weather. Last night, Jac and I went to the FFANY awards. I believe the QVC telecast is Friday night and you can purchase shoes and bags. The event was at Lincoln Center… A funny story….Jac bought a pair of boots at the event. The way it works is that you buy the item and then they give you a coat check ticket for your purchase. At the end of the evening, you go to the coat check to pick up your package. We were driving home on the West Side Highway….talking about the evening and I said I liked the boots she picked out…..THE BOOTS!!!….we forgot to pick them up! So I had to get off the highway at 125th Street and go back and get them! The party was still going on. We had a good laugh!!
Now for the shows:
PM Style:
On Pm Style, Oct. 18th, I will be showing two new items: A210363 is the Roma Ponte jacket. It is very similar to last years Roma Ponte tunic. It has a stand….stand away collar, 3/4 sleeve, band pockets and faux horn… dyed to match… buttons [they are on all the Roma Ponte pieces]. It is unlined so the stretch is very comfortable. The colors are: Loden Green [I am showing it with the Espresso silk/cashmere t-neck and the Espresso knit skirt], Magenta [if you already own the magenta t-neck it is a perfect match] and Sweet Potato… a deep sienna rust color which I am showing with the claret jewel neck, short sleeve sweater. The A210364, is the v-neck cardigan in the “Whisper Knit”. The colors are Ivory, Black, and Perfectly Pink. Each sweater is trimmed with a Black crinkle georgette ruffle aprox. 1 1/2″ wide [same fabric as Black Boho skirt]. The ruffle is on both sides of the placket and stops at the top of the rib border… approx. 2″. There is also a Black velvet ribbon and a row of Black beads that border the placket. It is finished with small Black jet buttons.
That morning…Oct. 18th… the 5:00am show is basically oldies but goodies….some not so old. There will be easy pays and hopefully some good pricing. What we will be selling that is NEW….A210361, the Roma Ponte Essential blazer in Black and Gray Heather, which matches the Roma Pont pant and Essential slim skirt. Some of you have already purchased the blazer on line….please read the reviews….they are all 5*****s. The blazer is unlined and beautifully finished with piping….has the faux horn buttons and the sleeve is plain…so it is very easily shortened!!!!
I know that 5am is not easy for many of you, so I would like to thank, in advance, those of you who manage to “rise and shine” at that hour. Please come join me on PM Style. We can do our own dance and have a good time!
…………………………………….much Love………………. Louis
I’m not sure exactly why but this website is loading very slow for me. Is anyone else having this issue or is it a problem on my end? I’ll check back later on and see if the problem still exists.
Hi, Louis! We returned from San Fran in the wee small hours and I was delighted to find all my recent Linea purchases. I LOVE my new “Ninotchka” jacket and matching skirt and sweater in Forest Green. I have silver hair, dark brown eyes, and a definite cool skin tone. I was concerned that the warmer forest green wouldn’t work well with my skin tone but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it works very well and I particularly like it with a bit of magenta. Any chance that you can bring back the Whisper Knit T-neck in Magenta? There are other requests for it on the Community Board. I also bought the velvet tunic and pants in both colors and know that I will enjoy wearing them in a variety of ways, including with my Garbo pieces. They feel like silk on. I love the flower pins and have found many other ways to wear them. They give a very chic look to wool tweed jackets and lacy blouses. Love! And I finally was able to grab the Mosaic tiered skirt in black/gray that bounced back to go with the top that I already had. Got a Small rather than a Medium which I usually order but it works. I love this skirt and top and now have it in both colorways. It pays to be constantly on the hunt! But I DO wish that the Q would stock sufficient inventory. My “almost’s Christmas presents arrived and I know that she will love them. I agree that the Sienna sweater would look wonderful with the cardigan but am still not sure about the color next to her neck and face. Thank you so much again for bringing us such beautiful and timeless clothes. My shopping options are few here in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and I know that I can always count on you and your clothes. I hope that you, Jac, and the girls are enjoying your relative down time and enjoying having time with each other. All the best, Barbara
Dear Barbara,
Glad you got home safe and sound. I’m also happy you like everything you have received. Yes, the tiered Mosaic print has been reordered in the original Black/Grey and the new Navy/Light Blue…..a light chambray blue to be exact. The T-shirt top, unfortunately did not make the cut and will not be reordered. I will have other things to go with the new coloration of the skirt. I also brought to my manufactures attention the problem a few women had with the tiers separating. They have worked with the factory to make sure the tiers are reinforced.
As for the magenta T-neck for next year….Magenta and Olive are the colors, so far, that have been requested the most. I’m sure if the cashmere blend in the perfectly pink doesn’t get reordered again…..the women will want the “Whisper Knit” in perfectly pink too. Maybe I can get them to reorder at least two new colors…..that is if the decide to reorder the T-neck again…..one never knows!
I hope your “almost” likes her present. When is the date of the wedding?
Enjoy Fall in the Shenandoah……it must be magnificent!……….Louis
Interesting…Only the Small appeared for the Blk/Gr Mosaic tiered skirt but it does work for me. I will have to wear it a bit to be sure that the tiers don’t separate. I sew and will check to see if I need to reinforce them before damage occurs. I don’t understand why the tops weren’t reordered as they look wonderful with the skirts and create quite a different look from when the pieces are separated. Yes! Do please add the “Perfect Pink” to the T-neck list! I know my “almost” will love the cardigan as it was one of the Linea pieces she particularly loved when she saw the line online. Don’t know when the wedding will be! This generation does things very differently from the way we did them! And I’ve learned to zip the lip. She is a lovely young woman and even took some days off work to squire us around San Fran. And of course our son is a prince :-). We are invited to come to her parents in Illinois for Thanksgiving and the two young ones are coming here for Christmas. Yes, we are in God’s Country here in the Shenandoah Valley, which is beautiful year-round. And the most wonderful people live here. The screen name “Tristan” and I discovered that her sister is a priest here in our church! I’m sure Tristan is just as lovely as her sister is. I hope you, Jac, and the girls are enjoying a crackling fire during these crisp days and frosty nights! Barbara
Oh, Sir! Take a bow! You made my day (again)!
Your “Ninotchka” jacket is fabulous, a perfect fit, and so very slimming over the matching skirt. I’m a very very dark brunette (salt and pepper now) with very pale coloring. The super-rich Espresso brown color is just the BEST! (BTW, the skirt does coordinate with the Linea dark brown boiled wool jacket with leaf appliques that I love to wear in the fall, and my treasured old Pringle claret-colored cashmere turtleneck just glows as a coordinate with the Espresso. All four of my new Whisper knit T-necks will work with this color. Now I am mining through my collection of scarves and wraps and blouses and finding more coordinates.
This was my first Roma ponte purchase and now I am even more eagerly awaiting delivery of the loden stand collar jacket next week. If that jacket fits me as well as I think it will, the magenta version will quickly follow, and I’m taking a chance that the essential ponte short skirt isn’t too short for a tall leggy 60-year-old wearing opaque tights.
The sienna sweater is an absolutely delicious color and soft, soft, soft.
Again, my sincere thanks for these wonderful clothes!
Dear MH-MN,
It sounds like you are having a lot of fun with your new Espresso outfit. It’s the perfect jacket to accessorize and a great color to play with different accent colors……
……………ENJOY!!!………….all the best…….Louis
Yes, thanks to you I am having a grand time with my fall closet turn-around.
On the Q fashion board I am trying my darnedest to persuade Gardensia to try this hat http://www.todosalcine.com/ninotchka.jpg (Is it Shiaparelli?) with the jacket, but she insists on a beret.
I don’t know but, I don’t think it was a Shiaparelli. The clothes definitely were not. Good luck in trying to persuade gardensla to wear the “Cone Head” hat LOL…………….Louis
….not gonna happen!
OMG! Louis, you are unbelievable! I rec’d the forest green jacket today. It fits like a dream, but I have to comment on the fantastic material. It has a wonderful “hand”, very substantial but not too heavy, the seaming and detail work is exquisite. Top quality all the way. I have other ponte knits from QVC (other clothing lines) and I was a bit hesitant abut buying this. Some of the ponte knits being sold look like the double knit poly/acrylic of years ago and do not impress me. This is ponte knit deluxe!!! I’m waiting for the loden jacket and I also rec’d the whisper knits T-necks in midnight navy, oatmeal and aubergine.
I NEED your ponte slacks to go with these gorgeous jackets. I missed out on the slacks (I was on vacation during your previous visit) and there is no wait list???? I’ve read the fashion boards and it appears people want them desperately enough to buy a Wal-Mart version!
I’m sure you don’t remember me saying this, but my family was in the garment industry on 7th Ave for many years. I spent lots of time visiting their companies’ and learning about fabrics, cutting, etc. Your clothing line is a throwback to those good old days!
I’m now looking forward to the Graphite jkt. and Berry Red cardigan…and I’m sure much more!
Thank you for making me feel like a princess!
Dear Judi,
I absolutely remember you telling me your family was in the garment center. I just got back from there a few hours ago. I find it a little sad….so much has changed. When you are there you have no feeling of being in New York’s fashion center. I guess the old adage ‘you can’t go back” is truer than ever.
I am happy you appreciate the difference between my “Roma” ponte [I even dislike calling it ponte] and everyone else’s. Absolutely!!!NO ONE is using this quality….It’s too expensive. Honestly, the pieces we are selling for fall should all have been more expensive but, since we started so late and could not look for an alternative…..let’s just say…..we all helped to keep the price down….at least this season. I am sure the Wal-Mart version is nice… or my ladies would not be buying it, however, knowing what they spend on fabric, I can’t believe it compares. The Graphite jacket fits like a dream and is supper sleek and the Berry Red cardigan is a beautiful JUICY color! If you haven’t seen my jewelry yet….please give it a look see on my QVC site. The pictures do it NO justice but, the comments say it all. Perfect Holiday presents too……………all the best……………..Louis
Hi Louis-
Thanks so much for answering me.
I’ve been in my closet (!) looking for items to wear with the ponte jackets. The loden stand up collar came today….love it!!!! Loden is one of my all time favorite colors…I’ve been wearing it before it was the “in” color. I would love to see a loden t-neck…hint, hint.
Of course, I’ll wear the oatmeal and aubergine T-necks with the jackets…I found scarves with those colors. One of the scarves is a treasured Hermes from my Mom, it has dark green, aubergine and cream…perfect!
Fast question re: St. John…..do you think a sleeveless tank in a copper/rust/sienna color by St. John would be suitable, fabric wise. I don’t think the fabric is too heavy, I usually gravitate toward substantial fabrics.
I was going to wear St. John black slacks with them now, until the slacks are re-ordered (I hope, hope!). I think St. John will give the jackets the class they deserve. Do you agree or disagree?
Your jewelry line is fabulous, if I’m not wearing the real stuff I love high end fashion jewelry. I have my eye on some long necklaces and a bracelet or two.
Nope, the garment district is history. I used to love the excitement, the bright racks of clothing in the streets, the humming of machines, the tension to get orders out…you know it well, you could write a book, I’m sure.
Regards
Judi
Loden t-neck….hint noted!
I think any of your St. John pieces will be more than suitable. You should also look at my silk/cashmere and spandex turtleneck in the Espresso [also black], to go with the Loden and a million other things. It is the most luxe piece I make. It feels like 100% cashmere but, the lycra keeps it from stretching like many 100% cashmere sweaters do. I’m sure you would become addicted. Enjoy wearing the Loden!

Hi Louis. I loved seeing you on PM Style and bought that lovely sweater with the ruffles. I wanted the pink and the black one. The pink sold out so fast, but I did get the black. The white was beautiful on Kerri, she looked so glamorous! I may order that instead of wait listing the pink. I was there for the 5am show and I must tell you that the show looked like a prime time show. Beautifully styled, as always. I have your jewelry and love wearing all the pieces. I get so many compliments..everyone thinks they are real. My question is this (a few of us are asking on your QVC blog)…When will you be back on in November? Please give us the date. Thanks so much for all your caring. You are a special man!
Dear Marilyn,
I am so glad that you got the black ruffle sweater. It is a very feminine and charming piece.. The white is also beautiful. I agree…Kerry looked like a movie star. I had seen her in the model’s room before our segment on PM Style, with her hair all pinned up. I thought to myself, ‘She looks so pretty’, but then she undid her hair and WOW! When I saw her on the runway, I thought she just looked so glamorous. By the way, she is as sweet as she is beautiful.
I will always style my early and overnight shows as if they were prime time shows. This is how I always work and I also feel that it is respectful to all those that set their alarms or stay up to watch at odd hours. We had a great show at 5am!! Then, Jac and I went to the diner for breakfast…all before 7am! It was a pleasure to ‘be” with all of you and then later on for PM style. The pink sweater did sell out fast, but you may be lucky with wait list.
To answer your question about November: I do not have any shows scheduled for Nov. or December. The Essentials and the Jewelry are on Dot.com for all of you. I am so glad you are pleased with the Linea Jewelry. I am very proud of it. Even though I won’t “see” you on QVC until the New Year….you can always reach me right here any time.
………………much Love……………Louis
Dear Louis, I hope you can relax now. I guess we won’t be seeing you on the air until some time in Jan. or Feb. If this is true, I hope you can have a long, relaxing vacation. You and Jac deserve it. I’m sure it was just an oversight on your part, but there is a post from me in this thread on Oct. 15th at 5:45pm that you may have thought you already read. There is a question at the end of my post.
As a side note, I noticed last night that Dennis Basso and Joan Rivers had a duo fashion/ jewelry show with alot of sellouts , or near sellouts. I mention this because Joan sold a new, long sequin scarf in pewter, and also in gold. Both sold out almost instantly. Dennis sold a long ponte cardigan in ivory or black with sequin bordering for $79, which nearly sold out. There were many other items- all new- during this two hour show. If they are allowed to offer these sequin items, then you certainly should be too. I voiced this comment in one of my posts in the thread for the sequin pants, which is circling still on the boards. It seems to me the ladies are persisting. They want the pants, the skirt to return, and a long scarf. Some have suggested it should be an essentials item for the skirt, as well as the scarf.
Lastly, I bought your new ponte jacket with the stand up collar that you sold in pm Style, because I know it will fit. However, from some comments, some ladies are wondering if it will fit well, because on a few models it appeared to be pulling near the bustline. On Jac it fit beautifully. If you replay the video shown for that garment, I would be interested in your comments. I always want your garments to be shown in their best light. You deserve nothing less.
Regards to Jac. I hope the “girls” are enjoying themselves.
As always, stylishmaven
Hi rhoda,
Sorry I didn’t get back to you….I simply forgot. I have to start deleting some of the old posts so I am more up to date. I can understand why some women were concerned about the fit of the jacket. If you review the video you will notice I only had the top two buttons buttoned. I forced the jacket to fly open more than it normally would have so all of you could see what she was wearing underneath, i.e. the claret sweater under the sweet potato jacket. This caused the jacket to pull….in a way…. across the body that it normally would not….my fault. I guess I was trying too hard to get as many messages and info to all of you. Let me assure you the jacket fits exactly like last years tunic in gray and caramel. All we did to the pattern was to open the front completely. There is no reason anyone should have a fit problem. As a matter of fact, this jacket [as the tunic] has bust darts which gives the bust area more room.
The “essential” jacket that is coming in Nov. is A210370. It is made in my rayon/poly/span fabric. This is the same fabric as my pant A210354, that I just sold in blk, winter white and navy, and my blazer A76354 [which is being reordered for spring in two new colors]. The color is Graphite, which is a dark gray. This is a cool blue gray, not a yellow gray. My steel gray is a warm yellow gray. This jacket looks best with black bottoms and an ivory or pale color top…..an ivory or black turtle neck and black pants with silver jewelry would also look VERY chic. It is V-neck with a 3 button front. The button holes are bound in the self fabric to give a “designer” finish. It has a 3/4 sleeve length. It also has inseam pockets. I would say it is “fitted” by QVC standards. I think the fit follows the shape of the body so it really isn’t a tight fit…..but then nothing on QVC is….LOL. The bottom of the jacket is slightly cut away, which gives the jacket a longer leaner look. The XS is 26″ long to front point and slightly shorter at the side seam and back. The jacket has a very clean, modern look. I tried it over the LBD and they work well together. The V of the dress is higher than the V of the jacket….so when the jacket is buttoned you will see the V of the dress. The dress and jacket are due in Nov. As for the fit of the dress…it too is fitted by the Q’s standards. I think some will think they were the fitting model, while others will find it roomy for their tastes. This dress is EASILY altered!!!I would not size up! in this dress. It has a nice shape to it but, as I said, everyone has different tastes. The sleeve is a chic elbow length….of course that too depends on each individuals arms. I think the styling makes for the perfect LBD.
I will push for the sequins! Why don’t you start a post “A letter to the Linea Buyer”, and let her know what you want! Can’t hurt and maybe it will help..
………..much love………………Louis
My dbl brsted essentials jacket in Forest arrived yesterday and Louis, it is so chic and so cool. Has a vintage vibe to to but still modern and easy to wear. Going back for the brown.
I want to make a request for more simple underpinnings to wear with jackets like this. I would love to play this off against a simple silk ballet or v neck l/s blouse (no button, just over the head)–I have one in ivory from Anne Klein that is at least 25 years old and I still wear it and it still looks current and fresh. I think you know the look I mean–I would wear this belted over your pencil skirt, sequin skirt and for sure with your soon-to-come sequin pants. Would be great with a long cardigan (which we also need from you asap).
Happy camper as always!
Dear gardensla,
I am so happy you loved the “Garbo” inspired jacket! It isn’t always easy to get them to buy a D-B jacket and I understand why but, sometimes I MUST offer something different.
As far as underpinnings…..noted. Again, it’s not easy to get them to buy understated, simple garments……everything has to “say” something! I understand that philosophy too, but I hear you “loud and clear”.
As for the “PERFECT” cardigan. I will have it for you as part of my “Essentials” program in Dec. along with the beautiful gold and black bracelet. The cardigan is A210437. There is also a companion tank, A210436. Here are the reasons I think it’s perfect. It is 60%cotton and 40% rayon…perfect for all year wearing. The colors are BLACK and deep Berry Red. It is approx. 27″ long…size XS. It has dyed to match buttons…so it won’t interfere with any jewelry or accessory choice you make. It has a perfect V-neck. High enough to wear with out anything under it, and low enough not to look dowdy. The fit is lean so it is not boxy or baggy. For me that is the perfect receipe for the PERFECT longer cardigan. Don’t you agree? I showed it on my last 5:00am show. Angela wore it with my black velvet pant and a black velvet ribbon tied in a bow at the waist. She also wore it with all of my new pearl necklaces and the black/gold bead necklace…plus my pearl drop earring…and nothing underneath…she looked fabu! It will look great with your sequin skirts, belted, sleeves pushed. killer heels……and skin…..I can see it now. Did I say it’s about $40………..Perfect……no?……………………………
………………..much love…………Louis
40.00? Honey you need to put a one in front that.
December you say? I’ll be on the lookout for a message from you here on your site; I have nothing in a berry red so will snap that up as well as the basic black. Think I need to stroll on over to the Q and find the video with the sneak peek of the cardi.
Thanks for taking such good care of us. Oh, by the way, your new (and very sold out) ballet neck sweater makes my waist look about 20-inches. One more reason to love my Linea.
I missed your 5AM show (just couldn’t wake up in time) but watched PM Style. Your pink sweater is on it’s way to me along with the magenta and sweet potato jackets. I love that magenta color.
Sometime in the next month we are driving to our daughter’s in CT to pick up a long haired shepherd she took in after a neighbor’s foreclosure. The last thing we need is 3 large dogs but my DH wants him.
I plan to wear some of my new clothes when we go. My difficulty will be to decide which. The forest green jacket, long skirt, and sweater should arrive tomorrow.
Dear Claudia,
I’m glad to see you picked up the magenta, sweet potato, and forest green. I think you will love the colors as much as I do. You can also mix your f.green with your s. potato….it will look great….good luck with the new pooch!
………………..much love……….Louis
Dear Louis, Thank you so much for your vivid descriptions. It is most helpful. I will buy the whisper knit in both colors, for sure. I will be buying the skirt and jacket in brown, I think. I like them both, but I think I could make more use of the brown. I don’t have the issue of double breasted jackets being a problem. From some of the comments, some of the women would have preferred a single breasted jacket, just for the reason you indicated. I, also, will definitely be buying the loden and sweet potato jackets, soon as they are posted. I think those jackets will be sold out very quickly, from the comments I’ve read. I think the same thing will happen with the cardigan, as well. By the way, someone started another thread earlier today on Lisa Mason and whether she is leaving. It is in fashion talk.
I’m sure the weather must be very blustery in Ct. today. I hope everything has been secured by you.
A last question: I know the essential LBD will be available sometime next month. I’m sure you will let us know when. There is also an essential v neck jacket. Will that be available at the same time, and in the black ponte, as well? Will that be a nice accompaniment to the LBD? Thank you again, as always, for your thoughtful, detailed responses. Your dedication and class are demonstrated in your every action. I understand why you, and so many of the viewers adore Lisa Mason. You, both, exemplify those qualities. I know that other designers will be part of the PMS Monday. Just know that the main reason many of us will be watching is because of you, and Jac, of course.
Til Monday—stylishmaven
Have a wonderful autumn weekend.
I did too! See you bright (?) and early Monday morning!
Sorry, like an idiot I posted in the wrong place. I snapped up the “Greta Garbo” essential jacket and matching skirt in Expresso, and the sienna sweater. I hope the skirt will coordinate with my beloved red suede leaves Linea jacket, for a more casual look.
Please tell Jac that I bought a pair of classic Frye boots as a freshman in college (fall 1968). My 30-year-old niece is wearing those boots now.
Dear Louis, The 3 items I was asking about- (A210366, A210367, A210368) are posted. I am able to order them now. Question: If you click on click for sizing measurements, there is no clarification about whether each of those garments should be fitted, semi-fitted, or relaxed, and it is not indicated in the general description either. Also, are there pockets on the jacket? Nothing is mentioned in the description, but it seems like there may be. I presume there are no pockets on the skirt. I am generally a medium in your jackets, and a small in your pants or skirts, unless they are running big. The crewneck, I am not sure. I wear a medium if the garment doesn’t have much give, and a small if it does. Lastly, the espresso brown- Is it a true deep brown, or does it have a tinge of reddish casting to the brown. Does it match any of your previous browns? I don’t have the espresso in the silk/ cashmere turtleneck yet. Thank you again for all your guidance. stylishmaven
Dear rhoda,
For me, the jacket is a relaxed fit. There are no princess seams, so it’s more or less like last years tunic in the Roma Ponte. That said, it does look good without the belt, the belt tied in the back for a more shaped look, and of course….it looks great with the belt tied. It is unlined. All the seams inside are beautifully finished with matching satin piping. It has band pockets that are slightly slanted upward for easy access. If you look at the picture on the site and you zoom in, you will see the pocket. I would say, if you bought the tunic last year….that is the size I would buy in the jacket. I don’t know if you are large on top…so remember it is double breasted. If this is not a problem area for you I would recommend your normal size. I think the size medium many be a little roomy but, that’s good. You don’t want this type of jacket to look skimpy. It also looks terrific with the top few buttons unbuttoned and the flaps down for a trench look. As far as the Whisper knit jewel neck sweater….what ever size you buy the Whisper Knit T-necks in that is what you should buy this sweater in. By the way…this sweater came out GORGEOUS!!! So you might want the forest green too! I looked at color of the brown closely. First, it is a DEEP beautiful, rich, color. If I had to say if the brown has more of a red caste or more of a bitter brown cast…..I would say red. I generally do not like browns that look too red….this does not. I don’t want to mislead you…it is a beautiful color but it is not an ashy brown. The silk /cashmere turtle neck is darker and a little less red but, they look good together. The skirt has NO pockets…..I did this so it would be an easy alteration if someone needed to take it in. There are those who are going to think it was made for them and those who think it’s big….that happens with every skirt I do……..funny….I rarely hear the skirt was too tight…LOL……..Hope this clarifies some of you questions……………..
………………much Love, Louis
Hi Claudia,
The three Oct. Essentials now have pictures posted on my QVC site. I am sure you will love them….I will be showing the forest green velvet pull-on pant with the forest green sweater on my 5:00am show….if you are up!!!
………….all the best…………….Louis
Dear rhoda,
Actually, the boots are very simple. They are Frye shoe boots with a low shaft and side elastic gussets…..perfect for pants or jeans….very simple and plain….just what she was looking for.
I did read Lisa’s thread and went to the link of her web site. I really don’t know what to say, and it would be wrong for me to speculate. I LOVE Lisa and I only wish the absolute best for her. She is exactly as she appears on TV only funnier! She has a great sense of humor and is a wonderful person!
I just e-mailed my buyer when the Oct. “Essentials” were going to be ready for selling……I’ll get back to you. The three pieces come in forest green. The jacket and skirt come in espresso and the second color for the Whisper Knit jewel neck sweater is sienna.
I’ll be waving right back…..see you Monday…………..Louis
Dear Louis, I chuckled at the story about the forgotten boots. I did something like that once. I would love to hear the description of Jac’s boots. I am sure they are amazing! Did you ever read that thread I told you about yesterday on Lisa Mason. I had responded and told you the name of the thread and where it was located. Someone on the boards mentioned today that it was poofed. I know there were at least 190 responses when I had last looked yesterday.
Question: At one point you had mentioned that 3 essentials, that have yet to be shown, were due to be sold in October, items #A210366- roma ponte double breasted jacket, #A210367- 3/4 sleeve crew neck, and #A210368- roma ponte long skirt. When will they be sold? Are those in forest green and black? Speaking about the roma ponte fabric, someone the other day posted that she bought at Walmart’s a few pair of ponte pants at $9.99 a pair, and was raving about them. As a result some of your Linea ladies went and purchased them, as well. This all happened in a thread about Linea ponte. Many of the ladies either weren’t able to buy your pants because they were sold out, or wanted to get more of your pants ( again they are sold out), or finally because the size of the Linea ponte pant they purchased was too big, and they couldn’t order in another size (again they are sold out). So Walmart is benefitting from the fact that your items aren’t ordered in a large enough quantity, so that the ladies can reorder, and also make size adjustments. I hope with your new buyer this can be corrected.
I am looking forward to buying the ponte jackets Monday, as well as one of the cardigans. I love the tunics, and ponte pants. I had bought each in both colors.
I will be waving back to you and Jac on Monday. Have a good trip, but first enjoy your weekend.
As always, stylishmaven
I brought up the 3 item numbers and was able to order them in forest green.
