……………………I LOVE SPARKLY THINGS……….Ever since a I was a child I loved things the glistened. I loved when the faceted glass prisms on the chandelier created rainbows on the wall at my mother’s house. It is something that has stayed with me my whole life. I would always call Jac into the dining room or she would call me as the sun was setting and the light was hitting the prisms of our chandelier just right…..casting hundreds of rainbows on the wall, ceiling and floor…it was magical……………….Some of my absolute favorite jewelry pieces are the ones that sparkle….they have such LIFE!……….The necklaces in the photos do that for me….they are joyful in their sparkle………………The STATION NECKLACE and EARRING SET, J358187, is the perfect combination of BOLD and DELICATE. I did these necklace over 28 years ago for ANNE KLEIN COUTURE, and I will probably never do them again…….which immediately puts them into “Collectors” category. These are unique pieces that will not come around again, and I guarantee you will not find the likes in any store……..By showing them on a simple Scarlet Red sweater with an Ivory skirt, then with a red pant, and again with the new Scarlet Red velvet top illustrates how these pieces will move from season to season……making any occasion a special one. Louis, I love rubies! My engagement ring is a ruby surrounded by diamonds similar to Princess Diana’s sapphire ring except mine is 50 years old. Most of my good jewelry are rubies. I ordered the “Jet & Diamond” necklace but now I must have the ruby as well as the Station necklace in ruby. They,truly, are statement pieces. Thanks so much for the nudge! oxoxo Cat
