You may ask, “did they go away?” Well, in the world of fashion’s “INS” and “OUTS”, pearls definitely had a cool down…………….but that is all changing. Pearls are taking the lead again. I have already introduced 3 or 4 new designs in pearls for the Holiday season and there will be more coming for Spring 2019………The “NEW PEARLS”, have taken a new twist. It’s not just your simple strand of pearls. The newness is in how they are used, and how they are combined with other beads and stones……..like the beautiful JET, FIREBALL and IVORY BAROQUE PEARLS…..or the beautiful necklace with the rows of pearls mixed with multi color faceted glass beads….all connecting to beautiful multi stone “brooches”…….The necklace and earring set above is another great example of that. J387825 is the style number. This is a station necklace with GLASS PEARLS and FACETED GLASS ROUND BEADS. Each color pearl is paired with a bead to compliment it. Some have an AURORA BOREALIS effect, like the LILAC MIST, IVORY and NUDE PINK……The GREY ICE glass bead is MILKY WHITE with a SILVER GREY appearing on certain sides of the bead, so there is always something to attract the eye…..something different!…………….The larger SIZE of the PEARLS and GLASS BEADS is what takes this necklace from a dainty strand to a STATEMENT PIECE. It can be worn long, doubled, and for some, tripled. The STUD PEARL EARRING is a good size, and will show well on the ear…………….These are necklaces that will go with many things in your existing wardrobes and will work with things I have coming this Spring 2019……like MORE ICE GREY WHISPER KNITS!……… They are great for mixing with things you may already own….for example…..try the Nude Pink pearls with your “Spirit” pendant in the pink. I am trying to decide which color pearl necklace I want. I love pearls and have both real and glass pearl necklaces and wear them alone as well as piled on. I would like to know the chain color…I think that will help me decide. It looks like the lilac and gray necklace chains are silver and the nude pink is gold but Imcan’t quite tell about the cream. Thanks, Louis. After seeing how you have combined the logo necklaces (I have both gold and silver) with other necklaces, I think I will get the cream to pair with the gold. It sounds like a dreamy combination. I always look forward to seeing how you style the jewelry. I think it’s time for QVC to schedule another jewelry show! I was in the city today, down town on Charles and Waverly having lunch with an old friend of Jac and mine. It was so beautiful in the village, and actually downtown was quite peaceful. Tonight is a fireplace night for me and my girls.
