Now that, hopefully, the Linea Line of Jewelry is established…..let’s keep our fingers crossed…..I felt is was extremely important to create some “ESSENTIAL ” pieces. …….pieces you can wear every day with anything you want. I have done many articles of clothing that are trimmed in either gold , silver or gunmetal buttons and findings, so I felt it was important to have an earring that would work with any and all of these pieces. I also felt that with many of the bold necklaces, sometimes a more subtle earring was necessary, of course that depends on the outfit, the event and the mood you happen to be in. These earring are avail in both clip and pierced [I believe the gold clip is sold out all ready]. As I said these will be your wear with ANYTHING earrings…..when in doubt these will always work. After seeing the photos on the Linea web site I thought it was important that you saw pictures that better capture what these actually look like. They all have a shiny finish and are definitely not matte……even so….they still look great with ALL of the Linea jewelry….from the very first strand of pearls with the gold and black beads, the dramatic gold ball necklace, the black and gold bead necklace to the current SILVER CROSSES , GUNMETAL LOVE KNOTS and the newest BRONZE MULTI and GUNMETAL MULTI [which QVC calls BLACK?]. There is NO NICKEL in this jewelry……I know they look simple, but many times SIMPLICITY is what is called for……………………Enjoy…………….much Love………………..Louis
Love these demi hoops– just my size earrings!! I love the gunmetal pierced with the love knot necklaces and the gold pierced works well with the original cross. If it sells well, could you consider a matte gold finish — similar to the new crosses?

Dear Chris………….if these prove to be successful, and “they” want to reorder them….plus add new colors….I would be glad to suggest a matte gold and matte silver……..however some of the ladies have already asked for a burnished bronze….so you are all going to have to get together on this and vote….that of course is putting the cart before the horse.

I received all three demi-hoops and I’m very happy!!! Sometimes I want the necklace or pendant to be the “star,” and the earrings just to enhance the look- sometimes the earrings are the star, no necklace needed, and sometimes I pile it all on! These are perfect essentials, as you said. I also received both of the big bead necklaces- I wore both of them together last night, and one of them today with the chandelier earrings. They will be a signature for me for a long time to come. Now, off to order the big bead earrings and fleur de lis cross.

Celia…..you explained what I have been trying to say perfectly! Sometimes all you need is just an earring and other times you pile it on. I am so PLEASED you got both necklaces!!! I love them both and I love them worn together. I don’t want to seem pushy and recommend women buying both colors, but they are fantastic together. One recommendation….when you are wearing both……..make one as short as possible and the other as long as possible with the extender…..this way they will “nest” properly. Also, you will notice the way the beads are laid out there are two large beads on one side and one large bead on the other……when you are wearing both necklaces….make sure you have three large beads on each side…..you’ll understand when you put them on. I know you are going to do the Happy Dance when you see what’s coming. It never ceases to amaze me what JUNK the stores are selling…….they have no distinct look, they are cheaply done and everything starts looking alike. I understand, anyone who designs in this price range has great limitations, however that’s no excuse for bad design. Of course the higher end stores have some beautiful things, but you have to pay some big bucks for them. Personally, I think the Linea jewelry can stand up to anything out there, and that’s just the way I want it.
Louis, I received these earrings, in gunmetal clip-on, a few days ago and LOVE them. I am usually a bigger-is-better earring wearer and love large, unusual designs. But this is a classic, more subdued style that will be perfect with dressy or casual attire. They are quite comfortable, too. Thanks so much!–Blinddogs
Dear Blinddogs….I’m really happy you like these “little” earrings. I am so used to “If you can’t see them on the runway what’s the point of putting them on the model” philosophy, that sometimes I overlook the fact that one: there are many women who can’t carry a large earring [glad to hear that’s not your problem], and two: sometimes a outfit or a bold necklace NEEDS a smaller, more subtle earring. For me this was the perfect solution. It works with everything, and it is an essential earring in all colors for every woman’s jewelry wardrobe.

The gunmetal is just perfect with A21979, the puckered fabric jacket! I have been looking for a simple earring that plays up the buttons on that jacket and you have now provided it. Gunmetal also looks very downtown chic with the navy silk/cashmere turtleneck. I’m going to have to buy a new box just to house my growing collection of Linea jewelry.

Thank you so much for these earrings. I know I’m going to reach for these a lot. I appreciate that your earrings come in a clip option. Although my ears are pierced, the piercings, like many other parts too numerous to mention, have drooped and cannot stand up to a heavy earring.
