Browsing through the Linea jewelry site, I noticed there are no colors photos for the PINK and NAVY pearls……….so I thought I would post my own pictures for those of you who are interested in these colors. The pearls are J264035 and are avail in the ……….PERFECTLY PINK……………. NAVY……………….. and the reorder GREY. I know many of you have asked for PASTEL fall colors, and even though I really didn’t do much pastel, except the PINK QUARTZ coat, I thought the pink pearls would be a wonderful way to satisfy your desire. I especially love the Pink WK sweater with the new hounds tooth skirt in the ivory/black combination…..finished off with the pink pearls. Since I do not have a matching pink pearl earring, I thought the gold demi hoop earring, J270391, worked well with the pearls. Also, in the photos above is the new NAVY pearls worn with the navy silk/cashmere Linea turtleneck and a pair of ivory trousers……….a very classy, timeless and chic look. These are also colors that can be worn all year. The grey, which was brought back by popular demand, is going to be even more important for Fall 2013….hint…hint……………………What great Christmas presents any one of these would be……………..Enjoy, much Love…………Louis

Dear Louis:
For the past hour, my smartphone has been bombarded with text messages from family & friends expressing disappointed in the Soldout status of the Navy knotted pearls!
Some stated they did order the Gray & Pink, yet broken hearted over the Blue – You should let QVC know just how popular the Navy IS & hopefully they will listen UNLIKE the case of reorder for the Aubergine & Green! Hope springs eternal…have a great show!
I just found out they were sold out not 10 minutes ago….I will certainly let them know….the pink is almost sold out too!
Was my Mr. Handsome listening? Time will tell.
Ok, I have just found a fabulous gift for Christmas, pink pearls for my Mom and a set for me….hmmmm, maybe sis in law too! This will be my first set. I have many faux pearls, they are simply elegant .
They are very beautiful, and I’m sure they will love them…..you too!
I’m a pearl fanatic. Love them, and know what a great set this is.
How about a nice, simple leverback earring with a slightly smaller pearl dangling from it? Maybe in an egg-shape?
I would buy them in every color. Nothing looks better next to a woman’s skin than the luster of a pearl.
Thank you. You never fail to surprise me.
Shopsy
Dear Mary, I tried to get them to buy a pearl earring to go with the pearls, but they didn’t buy them….I’ll try again.
If they ever DO decide, I wish they would be in stainless steel. No allergic reaction in my ears to that.
Dear Louis,
Since the Q only ordered one length, I am so glad you opted for the 72″ length. It is so versatile. I ordered two of the grey last season. I use one for my necklace options. I used 24″ of the other to make a 3-strand bracelet and I took 4 pearls to make earrings. I still had enough left for a medium long single strand to wear when I wear the one long one doubled. I couldn’t have done this so easily if your pearls weren’t so well-made, including being knotted between pearls. I would love these in a bronze pearl. Thanks, Deborah
WOW….you are a crafty one….that all sounds incredible….look what you got out of one necklace….a bracelet, earrings and another necklace. When I did the original colors, Wine, Green and Grey, Bronze was the 4th color. I have the samples and plan on presenting them at my next jewelry meeting….fingers crossed.
I am really hoping for the bronze! I have all the pearls, in all the colors, and dupes of all the white ones. I love the idea of making bracelets and earrings out of them, too!
I hope we can get reorders of the original white and black ones, too. They were great gifts.
Dear Carol…..I’m afraid the ivory pearls with the gold bead and black beads have been retired. Consider yourself lucky….there are very few of you who own them…..you are probably the only woman in your town to have them.
I LOVE those pearls with the gold and black beads—I got all three lengths—-PERFECTION! And I got the new Goldtone earring to go with. Thanks, Louis. Why won’t the Q reorder? Why do they always frustrate the loyal Linea aficionados so badly? Will they consider bringing back the black beads with the gold stations? There seems to be a big demand for them. Honestly, Louis, if it wasn’t for you, I would be done, done, done with the Q. Sorry for the rant—I had to get it out!
Dear Louis,
The value on these pearls is undeniable. The long luxurious length is such a step above any other line of pearls at the Q. I only remember one other long length about 20 years ago offered in 60″ not 72″ like yours, and in only an ivory shade. Short strands are a dime a dozen. Any chance we’ll be getting warmer shades in the long length like amber, cassis, peach maybe? Oh, and I love this pink on pink combo, it would look great with my cassis pencil skirt. And the navy, great with denim. BTW are any cassis items coming in the Oct. shows?
I am sort of finished with the Cassis color for now. I like to change the accent colors from season to season. Since I only can do 2 or three colors in a style, I prefer to do new ones. Since the Cassis was not reordered I don’t see it coming back. If the Q decides to reorder the pearls I will do them in new colors that coordinate with the collection.
Louis, thanks so much for the pics.
See you on the Q!
Love mine but would like to see shorter strands next year?
I had them last year but they didn’t chose them. I’m trying again.
Thank you Louis for the great pics of the pearls as well as of the new earring. I have all 3 colors of the earrings on their way to me but the Q pictures are pretty bad.
I’ve been meaning to ask if you recall the last time you offered a houndstooth check skirt – several years ago now. I of course still have mine – a nice pencil skirt. And it still looks fantastic with the ottoman rib knit long tunic-length cardigan with the gold buttons in red, black, electric blue and Kelly green. I have all those colors and still wear the cardigans proudly. And they STILL look fantastic with the black and ivory houndstooth check from yesteryear.
Here’s my question – is the check size the same on the new houndstooth renditions and the check size on the older pencil skirt version?
I knew that’s what you were going to ask…..The new HTC is a little larger. I love those ottoman sweaters and the colors were great. The gold nugget buttons were beautiful too.
Oh yes, they are beautiful still for sure. I also have and love the SHORTER ottoman rib knit sweaters in fuchsia and black and peacock with the matching buttons and the 3/4 length sleeve and the stand collar that looks so Hepburn. Those too are great with houndstooth. And I’m thinking that the gorgeous tunics you did last year which I have in Fawn and Black and Merlot should be a easy pair-up with the houndstooth skirt too. THIS is one of the reasons I LOVE your line so much! All the yesteryear stuff still works and looks fantastic and possibilities expand exponentially! 🙂

We are kindred spirits! My continuing thoughts EXACTLY!
