Fleur de Lis Cross and the Enamel Station Necklace

Birdie requested I post this picture again due to the less than pretty picture posted on the Linea site……and I am happy to do that. I do want you to know so there is no disappointment that the enamel station necklace has a shinier gold finish than the cross….so they are not an exact exact match…..which personally I prefer. They  look incredible together, and I know you will be pleased. The colors for both pieces are black, wine and olive [not sure what QVC is calling them]. I just came back from a day trip to R.I. to work in the jewelry factory with the wonderful people who take care of the Linea line and make sure everything comes out beautifully. As they get to know me and I get to know them better…..I know the product will only get better and better. They fully understand what quality I am looking for and that I am not happy with the norm and ordinary….that takes time and developing a working relationship. That is the reason I hopped on the train and stayed with them the day to go over all of the Spring developments and to work on all of the new fall 2013 program……if it all comes out as planned……….it will be the best yet…………….enjoy…………..much Love, Louis

    Hi Louis,

I want to thank you so much for the delightful clothes that you have brought us this fall. My two favorites are the herringbone and tweed jackets. I have both colors in each and just love them. I get so many compliments on the herringbone jackets. People actually ask me if they are silk or linen. The tweed jackets remind me of days gone by when clothing designers used substantial, chunky wool materials. The tweed jackets have that look without the weight. Please keep them coming!

    Thanks,

    Mackenzie

Dear Mackenzie……..I am so pleased you are happy with your clothing. I know exactly the reaction you are getting to the herringbone. That is what I thought when I first discovered the fabric. I couldn’t believe it was polyester! They have come a looooong way since the 60s developing this yarn……from silky charmeuse to textured tweeds. I would suggest dry cleaning the herringbone fabric….it is more delicate than it looks……enjoy!

Louis, thanks for the tip to dry clean the herringbone jackets. I really appreciate it since I enjoy them so much.

Dear Stephanie……If you have any Olive or Tarragon sweaters and or the Tarragon tweed jacket you should put it all together first. All of the crosses I have seen are exactly the same color so I doubt that yours is any different. My photos look lighter because there is a FLASH shining on the pieces.
Glad to hear you like the lace cardigan….what color did you get. Let the ladies on the Forum know how you feel at it.

Louis, thank you for bringing us such lovely things.

I did have a question about the cross though. I ordered the olive, but when it came it was a very dark color, not like what’s pictured. It didn’t look like any shade of green at all. Thinking about ordering the wine, but do you think the green that I got was imperfect?

BTW…LOVE the lace cardigan…so soft and flattering!

Maybe they sent you a black one by mistake?
