…………………….The Mayan people had the most sophisticated and highly developed writing system in the pre Columbian Americas. They were known for their advanced skills in architecture, mathematics, the calendar, and the astronomical system. Their Art and Jewelry were magnificent. They LOVED GOLD, and combined many pieces with chunks of turquoise, But their massive GOLD COLLARS, earrings and cuffs were standouts…….They sure new how to make BOLD GOLD pieces………The beautiful RUSSIAN GOLD Mayan necklace above, J393302, was inspired by their plaque necklaces. Instead of one massive solid piece of metal, I am using small rounded squares to get a similar effect. There are golden bars to control the shape of the necklace, and the top bars have small round beads attached. From that there are FIVE more rows of the square beads up to another bar, and then chain to the back neck…….all in GOLD……It looks substantial, but it is surprisingly light in weight! This is a STATEMENT NECKLACE, and will make any outfit special……..For those of you who like to mix it up, I especially like the ICE Venetian necklace, J390581, or any of the color Venetian necklaces worn on top, tripled as shown above, using the Mayan necklace as a back drop. Since they both have the same square beads in the same gold color they blend together perfectly, and the two together are still very light. Then you can add your Venetian earring……….This will make your outfit very unique…………….gasp worthy!………………….The Mayan necklace is avail. NOW…………………………..enjoy…………………….much Love……………………………Louis

Very glamorous. I have the earlier versions in both the blue and the brown with their matching earrings, and wear them a lot.
It’s a must have.
Five stars!
The photographer at the Q should be fired for the dreadful photo of this necklace that is posted on the site. The beads look like little pieces of matte cardboard! How is that possible? Cell phones do a better job. The Mayan is gorgeous with all of the light play on the beads. Without your photos, we should never know.
Oh my my! Stunning. Esp the Venetian and Mayan combination.
STUNNING, Louis!
