………………………….Spring and Summer is a great time of year to wear fun flirty skirts………Whether you wear them with a classic shirt like my WHITE on WHITE emb. shirt, A349644, my V-neck tee, A308450, or a feminine blouse like my convertible blouse above, A306416….the skirt can work for anyone’s lifestyle. The RED MULTI FLORAL, A351415, has an elastic waist with the center stitch to prevent any twisting of the elastic. This is an easy A-Line skirt……not too full…..just enough room to “walk” with ease, and move prettily…and the fullness of the ruffle is controlled so anyone can wear this and feel they are not wearing something too young. A tee and flip flops will work for ANYONE!…..The skirt is approx 24 inches long, but can easily be adjusted by either dropping the elastic band to make the skirt a least one inch longer or raising the elastic band to make it a little shorter…….Fuller skirts always look a little longer than a pencil skirt anyway…..The top FLOUNCE starts at the low hip and dips down to the other side creating a DIAGONAL LINE……..This ELONGATING DESIGN LINE is much more flattering to anyone’s body shape than a perfectly horizontal ruffle going across the hips, which is the widest part of most women’s bodies. The bottom of THIS flounce ends approx. where the bottom flounce begins [easily seen in the photos above]. This horizontal flounce at the bottom is straight, circling the legs….These are CIRCULAR RUFFLES which flatter than a SHIRRED ruffle…..so there isn’t a lot of bounce or ruffles that stick out….There is no lining in this skirt…..it was not necessary………This isn’t just a pretty skirt….it’s a COMFORTABLE, COOL, EASY skirt, which I’m sure will be enjoyable to wear………For some summer fun add the colorful “Brooch” necklace, J390523.
