…………………………….SAGE is the final color I am presenting…………………..It is a COOL, blue based green. The green influences the beige lace, so the LINEN PONTE CROP PANT, A302601, works well with this color tunic……….If you were lucky enough to get the MOSS CREPE pant, A273877, in the SAGE, it works perfectly with the Sage tunic. It is still avail, but only in xxs [last clicks]. I was asked by Chris if the Dill lace pant would work, and frankly I didn’t think they would…….I was wrong, but don’t get me wrong…..this is not a combination for everyone. It is only for those who dare to be different with the confidence to do so. I definitely can see a very chic sophisticated woman walking into a room looking like this….with the attitude to carry it off……like it was absolutely natural to put them together with out any doubt………With the Dill lace pant, at left, I also put the dill tank top under the tunic. In general I like the tanks tucked into the pants with the tunic laying over the bottom you select……………………..The CHANTILLY NECKLACE and EARRING set in the Sage and Beige combination just adds that special and unique DESIGNER LOOK………..CLICK “OLDER” for more Sage pictures…………………………………………………………………………………………..
enjoy…………………………..Much Love……………………………Louis
I love this in green. Has an almost camo effect but in lace. How lovely. Getting green and pink. Thanks!
Kate!!!!! I’m so happy to hear from you. It’s been a while and you had me worried. I just remember all the “conversations” you had with Jac, and I was thinking “where is that girl!”I almost sent you an e-mail? :}
Thank you! I do so miss Jac and all of her delicious and wonderful insight and advice (fashion and otherwise). And, I’ve been missing posting here and on the Q site. I’ll be more active now that I am just less busy. Spring in the garden editorial world is just insane. I’ve not been posting, but I have been buying Linea by the score. I meant to let you know how much I wear those windowpane and lace pants and all of my Linea scarves. Looking forward to a few new summery things!
When you say editorial work…would it be in anything I could see? I’d love to see your work!
Of course! I’m the Editorial Director for Monrovia (and I also freelance for a few magazines….shhhh!) and one of my responsibilities is to write the blog. Here’s the link: https://growbeautifully.monrovia.com/
I know how much Jac loved to garden and you seem to have quite the green thumb, too.
Love the details given on Monrovia products!
Thanks Kate….shhhhhhh mums the word!……..Hey Kate……remember when you asked me about “COIN” jewelry????? I’m gonna knock your socks off….just be patient….”They” are coming!
Obsessed. I am OBSESSED with coin jewelry, especially for summer. So excited. Whatever you’re selling…I am buying. (Can we have shells next year?!–I know, she always wants more, that one.)
I will look into it. It depends what is avail and how fragile they are. I googled ancient Roman coins and took pictures….then had them reproduced on a 3D printer….fascinating!
I’m glad that Chris asked the question, and that you posted the combination, because I think it looks amazingly fierce & had been wondering about this myself. I know that most women would not go in this direction, but I would, & love the way this looks. Thank you, Louis, for showing this & letting other women know they can go for things with a little bit of confidence and style.
Dear April….I know anyone with that “I don’t care” attitude can pull this off beautifully.
Hi Louis,
Thanks for showing the sage over the dill lace pants. I do have to agree, the ‘olives/greens’ clash. I do happen to own the moss crepe pants in that sage color.
I definitely will consider this lace top.
Regards,
Chris
You will be happy with the moss Crepe pant in sage with this sage top
