…………………By now it’s no secret that I love anything with a ethnic flare……………….The BEDOUIN NECKLACE & EARRING SET, J478051, follows that path. If a necklace isn’t all metal than naturally it’s all about the other materials used….usually BEADS……..I am always on the hunt for interesting beads and new ways to combine them…………I found FOUR interesting beads to combine with wonderful resin BLACK LINKS. There is a kind of large OVAL DROP which is a TRANSLUCENT BEAD. It has the look and color of TIGER EYE. Then there is a round faceted opaque bead that has the look of TURQUOISE. Two irregular shaped black beads frame the red elliptical bead……..It’s a very interesting combination to look at…….When I saw the first samples they were exactly as you see them with one difference. I couldn’t figure out what was disturbing me…..I liked all the elements very much, but there was just something that was disturbing me??…..Then I knew….All of the metal rings and chain was gold, and it stood out. IMHO the gold distracted from the beads and black links. I wanted them to be the main event, but the gold was competing…….so I had all of the gold metal plated BLACK………that made ALL of the DIFFERENCE!…Now the beads and links stood out!…..If you like to MIX as I do, then the LORD of the RING necklace in BLACK, J393304 is a must have.. I love the textures, and the rings and links go together like peanut butter and jelly…..ummm….it’s be years since I’ve had a P&J……As you can see in the photos this is a very versatile necklace. You will be pleasantly surprised to see how well it mixes with things you already own…….The colors have a South West vibe, so it will be easy to mix with American Indian jewelry….The earring is also in the black metal with a lever back, pierced only. It has a smaller faceted Turquoise bead with the Translucent Oval drop. It is very light weight and easy to wear…….If you have color bangles they would mix well with the BLACK ROLLER BRACELETS, J390569…………….The photos on your right show the FUCHSIA TIE DYE BOHO SKIRT, A306906, with the OFF the SHOULDER blouse, A306416, a great summer look……..The photos on the left show the BLACK CREPE GAUZE TUNIC, A302566, a LINEA ESSENTIAL piece, and great for layering. The pockets in the tunic make all the difference!. The STRIPE KIMONO, a new fabulous piece, was actually the inspiration for the Bedouin necklace!…..It’s due in JULY so more on that later…………In the mean time you will have fun exploring all of the things you have already to show off your new BEDOUIN NECKLACE & EARRING……………………………….enjoy…………………much Love…………………….Louis

I can’t wait for this sassy little cardi… are the pockets as you normally have them, stitched down?
Funny you should ask…..We tried stitching them down in different color threads, but they all looked disturbing. Your eye went right to the stitching. So we decided, since the fabric is so light that we would let them be.
Ok it looks like so much fun! With anything from jeans to your LBD. You know how I feel about the blue Bedouin. Dreamy but strong.😻
You’re not dense, I forgot her last name
Iris Apfel
My favorite necklace set so far this summer, the Lord of the Rings was made for it! STRIPED CARDIGAN SO COOL !!!! These three will get you through summer, throw in a white T , done.
Somehow, Louis, the Bedouin reminds me of Iris.
Cela…..excuse me, I may be a little dense, but who or what is Iris?
She’s the petite, fashionista in nyc.
Have you ever seen her in real life….she is surprisingly tiny, but wears everything, and I mean everything so well!
No Louis, I’ve only seen her on You Tube in a documentary about fashion in New York. Many people were in the video who’ve known her for many years— the Toledo’s, Billie Cunningham—you know, people you’ve heard about but just never seen. What I remember was the huge exaggerated bead necklaces she wore in many of the shots with so many different colors. They looked somewhat like the Bedouin you’ve created but a little more playful, and reminded me of her
In the video. But the thing that made me remember her from the video was the comments her colleagues who had worked with her for years said about her integrity.
So sad about the stupid review about the faceted bead necklace. She sounds like a very ignorant woman. If she knew jewelry, she’d understand you could never achieve that many facets in a plastic bead anyway. If she had read the description she would have learned that the beads are, in fact, faceted glass beads. I’ve read many biting reviews like this on Qvc (I don’t know WHY it seems to be only Qvc) but it always seems to stem from ignorance. Many people simply refuse to read the discription. So, bear that in mind, soldier.
I have read many reviews that I’ve shook my head at and said to myself “really”. When people make up lies and tell them as if they are true, that just gets my ire up. You said it…..Last word…I have zero patience for stupidity.
